No. Social Democrats protected democracy again both nazis and communists. Communists don't want democracy. They want dictatorship of workers over everybody else. Nazis want the dictatorship of their people iver everybody else. Social democrats want a democracy of free and equal people.
I think ads could work better if YouTube didn't use them to make the free experience awful. They usually have neither to do with me nor with the content I tried to watch.
It applies to everything you post. The GDPR is supposed to level the power between you and organisations like Reddit. It give you the power to know what data they have on you, correct and delete it.
If they don't let you have this power, you can file a complaint with you data protection office. It doesn't have to be a formal complaint. Just write them a mail with your problem.
We are so used to the idea that a social media network has to dominate the world - ekse it's a failure. If Lemmy, Mastodon, Pixelfed or your old fishing forum is enjoyed by some people, it's a success.
Many smaller businesses are good organisations. It's when they grow too big, that moral gets lost.
