  • So, we have to be grateful that Israel hasn't dropped a fucking nuke, how magnanimous! Not to mention the little detail that nuclear fallout doesn't care about borders. A nuke in Gaza would kill hundreds of thousands in Israel.

The previous comment tried to argue that Israel wasn't committing genocide because they didn't bomb refugee camps and because they evacuated the population, and I showed that both of the claims are false. The rest is you moving the goalposts.

  • The head of RB or the head of RB?

  • Ye es

  • I guess the olives are also Hamas and there are secret tunnels under the olive trees

  • You cannot blame countries for buying from Israel.

    Of course I can

  • If we wanted a genocide it would have happened a hell of a lot quicker

In one month and a half, Israel has killed 1 out of every 200 Gazans. For comparison, the death toll in Gaza is about 11000 civilians, while the death toll in Ukraine is 9700 (in 19 months). Isn't that quick enough to you?

Bombing the places where the refugees are gathered

instead of telling them to get out of harm’s way.

...only to bomb the people who are getting out of harm's way: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/live-blog/israel-hamas-war-live-updates-rcna120252 https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/16/middleeast/israel-palestinian-evacuation-orders-invs/index.html https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/why-is-israel-attacking-south-gaza-after-telling-people-go-there-2023-10-25/

  • Or are you gonna say that the us is also making this stuff up for Israel’s sake?

Didn't Biden say that he had seen himself the supposed pictures of the beheaded babies, only to be corrected by the White House?

  • spread of antisemitism that has “immigrated from abroad.”

So they're saying that there is no German-born AfD politician or voter?

  • Have they found the Incubators of Mass Destruction?

  • with a white circle and a black cross

  • Of course. Those kids in refugee camps, hospitals and ambulances have their hands soaked in blood.

  • If Israel intentionally targeted civilians not around the enemy because they elected Hamas as their government this enabling state sponsors terrorism, it would be considered collective punishment.

    https://www.npr.org/2023/10/30/1209308436/west-bank-israel-jenin-palestinians-killed-raids-airstrike-mosque

Israel is also attacking the West Bank, where there is no Hamas.

    Hiding amongst your own civilians

I have never understood this argument of terrorists "hiding" amongst civilians. Terrorists are people, that live in residential buildings, that pray in temples, and that go to hospitals when they are injured or ill.

My country, Spain, had a huge problem between the 1970s and the 2010s with the terrorist group ETA. But nobody was ever so fucking psycho as to suggest bombing the places in the Basque country were the terrorists lived. There are other ways of fighting against terrorism that don't include the killing of civilians.

    They are targeting the enemy.

No. They are targeting civilian areas where there are maybe some enemies.

  • Or the residents of Gaza strip

  • “We note that there are contrary requirements on drivers in that they must respect the minimum [sic] time, they are attempting to create manageable gaps to cars in front, yet they are also required to avoid unnecessarily stopping at the pit exit or driving unnecessarily slowly. It was also particularly noted that the race director accepted that these contrary requirements exist.”

This is such a load of bullshit. Respecting the maximum lap time is a requirement set by the director's race notes. Avoiding stopping and/or driving unnecessarily slowly at the pit exit is a requirement set by the rulebook. Creating a manageable gap to cars in front is NOT a requirement. It is a competitive advantage. And as such, drivers and teams are free to pursue an advantage as long as they are within the requirements. There aren't contrary requirements. You either set a lap earlier than everybody else when the track is not in optimal conditions, or you wait till the last moment and take the risk of traffic.

If I were Leclerc or Hamilton, I would use this ruling to challenge last week's DSQ. After all, there are two contrary requirements if we follow the stewards' logic: the requirement of the wear of the planck and the requirement of running low to maximize ground effect.

  • can live on [...] soil nutrients

Except they don't. Carnivorous plants evolved in soils that are poor in nitrates and/or phosphates, so they get them from their preys.

  • Israel has full control over the airspace, seaports, and TV transmissions, in addition to imposing a blockade. Doesn't sound like "separated" to me.

  • The entire strip is Hamas according to the IDF

The IDF issued an order to evacuate the north part of Gaza. So anyone that didn't evacuate? Hamas. And the people who evacuated? Hamas using human shields. Sadly this isn't satire, it is the IDF's actual justification.

  • They will use this law to deny citizenship to people from Palestine

  • For a long time, it was believed that Hawking radiation is thermal and doesn't carry information, except for the mass/radius/temperature of the black hole.

In 2004, Hawking conceded that, due to the holographic principle, information wasn't lost. The basic idea is that the infalling matter can gravitationally deform the horizon and thus modify the distribution of Hawking radiation from the pure thermal emission. And the interesting point is that the entropy of the black hole is proportional to its area and not its volume (holography), so the deformation of the horizon is sufficient to recover all the "missing" information.
