Shit, I just did one of mine a couple weeks ago, and I told myself I was gonna get a package of 9 volts on the next grocery run and go through the house and do the rest of them. And I definitely did not follow through on that. So thanks for the reminder.
Tetrips, or maybe it was Tetripz, I can't remember, it's been years. It's Tetris except with crazy video effects that supposedly simulate being on various drugs. It's a lot harder to play when the whole screen is flashing and bouncing and twisting.
Super colossal shrimp increased by 31% because they started fortifying it with cesium. You expect to just get that cesium for free? Hell no, you gotta pay for it!
I wonder if it's some kind of A/B test or something. Or they got too much negative feedback and rolled it back. I saw this UI for like a week or two on my previous phone but when I got a new device and installed FF it was back to the old UI. Not on beta or nightly channels or anything, just standard releases from Play Store.
It has been pretty much my favorite single book ever for, like, the last 30 years. I loved the 90s Tim Curry miniseries back in the day, and I think the new pair of movies was probably the best Stephen King adaptation I've ever seen, except for maybe the Green Mile.
The first half of this show's season did not feel like It, it felt like Great Value Stranger Things. They finally got their shit together in the second half I think. I don't know why it took them so damn long to bring out Pennywise, but that's when it finally started picking up for me.
I don't feel like I ever really connected with the kids. There were some familiar last names but it still didn't really feel right to me. Like it was still just some random teenagers in the 60s fighting seemingly random Monsters of the Week for a pretty good chunk of it. Big whoop.
The Marge reveal in, iirc, episode 6, was great, but sorta too little too late.
(I tried to put that last bit in spoiler tags, I hope it works... I still left it sorta vague in case it doesn't.)
I am really glad they're doing it like an anthology series. I wanted to see more about the Black Spot, and I'm glad we're going to get more about the Bradley Gang and the Kitchener explosion in the next couple go-rounds
I will absolutely give season 2 a shot when it comes out. I'm still sorta iffy on the whole thing, but they did figure things out well enough in the back 9 of the first season that I'll give them the benefit of the doubt next time around.
It's me! I'm the collector! It can be worth something to another collector after I'm dead, it's staying on my bookshelf until then (or until AI takes my job and leaves me destitute).
Dunno if this is really what you're going for, but my hardcover copy of Stephen King's It is missing an entire signature. Jumps from page 790 to 823. Cleanly, not ripped or cut out or anything, just smooth gone.
I wrote to the publisher (on paper... probably with a typewriter) and they mailed me a new copy.
Microbrachius means “little arms” and refers to the genital limbs that locked male and female fish together when mating. And dicki means – that’s right, you guessed it.
I recently did a single player story playthrough of the four numbered Diablo games, and I noticed that the succubi alternate between naked and clothed in each game.
Naked
Clothed
Naked
Clothed
So my prediction is that they will be naked again in D5, whenever that comes out.
I had been a plague doctor one Halloween several years before the 'rona hit. I definitely dug the mask back out and went grocery shopping with it a few times during the height of the pandemic.
