  • That's quite ingenious actually

  • Your original title didn't say anything about games though. The Tower of London dungeons don't come with a soundtrack.

Or maybe you just disabled music in settings and forgot?

  • Storing energy for the zoomies

  • Yes, but day to day usage, you don't have to touch it

  • When I need to run terminal, it's because I'm following a specific guide to fix or setup something. It's not much different than following a similar guide for Windows, except there might be a bit more copy+paste going on on Linux.

The omnipresent mentions of terminal also delayed my switch and it was completely unnecessary.

  • No need to wait for SteamOS. It still needs the compatibility layer, as it is Linux. There is bothing too special about it as far as I know.

I'm a layman in terms of Linux but really... except some multiplayer titles, there really isn't much to be concerned about using Linux. At least not from my experience.

  • I believe that's what I was thinking of, thanks

  • Wasn't it among the games shown somewhere where they staded all games shown will be "releasing within a year" well over a year ago?

  • Maybe she just wants to lick away the beard?

  • I thought the sanctions have no effect and don't matter? Which is it?

  • Welcome and enjoy!

  • Yeah, no civilization can get rid of bad people. It just gives them camouflage

  • In my native language just the first word gets capitalized in a title. I don't think anyone ever explained to me why English capitalizes (almost) every word.

  • It's kinda weird that this makes perfect sense.

  • Pros: you have a weekend when other people don't. So wherever you want to go, there will likely be less people there (thoug do account for morning and evening workday traffic). Some places you may need to go to may be closed on weekends, but you won't face this issue.

Cons: you have weekend when other people don't... If you want to do something with other people, you will likely be limited to evenings.

It's nice if you have a close person who can have similar week schedule like you, or if you just want to do stuff by yourself. I did use work like that (though I didn't have fixed days) and it had its perks for sure. Split days off may be manageable sometimes, but it is a terrible idea longterm. Might work forbyou, we are all different - but I'd advise against it. Go for it sometimes if you need to change shifts with someone (especially if you could get a 3 day "weekend" out of it), but I'd advise against having it fixed like that.

  • I guess it's about how you see quality. There are many products that are mass produced but if something is handmade, people see value in it to this day.

When or if AI will reach the point you describe... there will be still something special behind a performance done by a living flesh and blood person.

AI may have its place, but I don't think it should be the be all end all

  • I only have experience with Mint, but you could try running GW2 as a steam game? Not sure if it would help.

You need to add "-provider Portal" to the launch options so you can use your non-steam account.

Could also ask in !guildwars2@lemmy.wtf for GW2 specific advice.

  • Happy birthday!
