Yeah, no. I have a car and I hate driving it. I hate others having cars and driving them. I hate public transport being ignored over car infrastructure leaving them completely impractical. I hate our cities being ruined in order to work around cars, when metros are underground, and trains are overground but take way less space since they can take in way more people and transfer them way faster. I hate car accidents being one of the leading causes of death in my country. Fuck cars
Sadly most people are way too fucking dumb and uneducated to have nuanced opinions, but you can't blame them fully when they're so busy working all day that they can't afford to spend time reading and learning from quality sources
Actually the big forces carving out lands for them completely irresponsibly like they're all the same has doomed them to be in a state of war for as long as they exist.
Religion exacarbates the problem and creates extremism but violence would very well exist without it.
With the pretty huge difference that when they got enough for everyone, they stopped and lived life.
We on the other hand, sit there and try to find ways to complete our work day despite having completed our goals, we even work more than what the world needs, driving up profits for our masters and throwing away what isn't used. And yet we still can't feed everyone despite producing more than enough, because it would be less profitable to spread those resources equally.
I don't support this, but you don't need VPNs for remote logins. SSH exists, it's just that VPNs are a better solution for companies among other things.
Profit maximization and personal gain over the many is where cooperation goes to die.
Some small companies can do a good job, and sometimes bigger ones too, but they'll be crushed by other companies that exploit their employees forcing them to do the same if they want to stay in the business.
The only way this can be done in a capitalist way, is by distributing exactly one company share for every employee that's not tradeable at all, flattening the hierarchy completely, and making every decision in a direct democratic way.
If you thought any measures taken for Ukraine were because of morals you're very mistaken
