  • This is basically what we're getting but with a different appearance, i believe there is a lot of overlap between Wero and iDeal

  • I'm also disappointed in the guy that's causing all this!!

  • This is great, a step forward in European integration. But what I am really looking forward is an alternative for card payments in stores. Right now the only way to avoid non-European companies is paying with cash.

  • wE aRe aN enErgY cOmpAny noT An oiL coMpaNy!1! Lol

  • But clickbait boost engagement so they don't care

  • Norway is an outlier because very cheap energy (from hydropower) plus very low taxes because of income from selling earth minerals (oil). You are right about wealth distribution, but that is not the whole story in this particular case. Other countries with similar wealth distribution do not have similar adoption of electric cars. Not saying Norway isnt doing a good job though, they are a good example for any other country for sure.

  • Shhht, the british government is looking for him

  • Out of sight out of mind

  • If they only sold mri machines it'd make much less sense, but they sell a lot of stuff and their name on a healthcare machine increases trust. When you sell stuff like this brand perception can go a very long way. That aside execs and designers might feel very proud to have produced this machine. But carry on with your scepticism, it's good practice.

  • Could When will it?

  • They have one of the smallest brain to body ratios of any mammal, […] they have the largest hind gut to body ratio of any mammal

Not all change evolution is progress lol

  • Sounds plausible, Russia's invasion of Georgia didn't seem like a big deal to me back then. Same as Russia's first invasion of Ukraine in 2014. Media failed me in each of those cases. I feel like i'm having less blind spots as i get older, but i'm obviously still not fully there yet.

  • one which requires therapy and mental health treatment to address.

Not everybody is capable of developing empathy though, it also sounds sociopathic. The problem isn't only the one guy saying something crazy, it is also his environment not intervening.

  • Now you mention them, interesting how Israel and Russia are matter of discussion and Azerbaijan isn't despite their invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh

  • A possible counter argument could be that other customers don't use the services you do use and in the end it all evens out, but you'd need to look at the data to know if that actually is true. Perhaps if the all-in package has become less interesting for you and you could downgrade your membership to only get premium vpn or mail.

But that aside, i totally agree the vision of the leadership only makes sense if it is based on the needs of customers and I also doubt whether they are Protons main interest.
