  • Right? And they’re cheap as hell. A $30 head with like 45 settings will last 10 years and save enough water to visibly cut your water usage or your massage budget or your dildo needs.

  • I’m constantly befuddled by the American desire to avoid handheld shower heads. How do you wash your armpits and asshole? Answer? You really don’t, you’re nose blind. I can still smell you, because I pressure wash mine with enough force to cleave marble.

  • Just an addendum, I’ve never heard anyone in my many years call anger someone’s true side, except to joke or reference. Tv and books like to do it, though.

  • It’s so good. Fun, over the top dialogue, a decently implemented story that drives you through the masses of bodies, and the mechanics make you feel like the murder god your character is. And the perfect soundtrack to keep you alive. 0 regrets playing it.

  • I got to the lightning island and found the only interesting aspects of the entire game to be snippets of conversation from certain characters and floating around like botw. The philosophy relating to eternity and responsibility from some of the gods, enemies, and the former king (I think) of the fallen kingdom were about all I cared to listen to.

    Gameplay 3/10- combat made me want to die. Movement was alright.style 4/10- heavily reduced due to intolerable anime noises. Muted, 7/10.Dialogue 2/10- I was deeply uninterested in most of their repeated jokes and maladjusted chicanery. Eyepatch girl, in particular, needs a second lobotomy.Story 6/10- it’s a neat framework that they simply did not execute in a way that I could enjoy.

    Overall, 4/10, not worth playing. If muting voices had been an option, I’d bump it up.

  • I played genshin for like 2 months, trying to figure out what people liked about it. I muted the game to stop the anime noises within the first day, skipped every cutscene by day 2 because the characters’ mannerisms pissed me off, blocked online elements within a week because other players were deeply uninteresting, and hit a hard progress wall within a month of increasingly intermittent playtime. I left after a few weekly boss rushes began to remind me of RuneScape grinding.

    Which is to say, you can freely play it. It’s terrible

  • Having watched the linked video and its other part ages ago and again more recently, my chief question is always the same. Who begins the process? Given that the captain is just a crew member hired like the rest, who is the one that begins the recruiting process? Without covering that, it almost feels like piracy is caused by random, persuasive ships floating into port. Have I just missed that info every single time?

  • My absolute favorite sushi place for ages was a conveyor belt shop run by a family of jovial Mexican sushi chefs and one very stern Korean woman. Cheap, tasty, consistent, fresh. They profited through volume, but doing so was murder on their joints, so swapped to typical prices and seating. I’m just glad that food bigots are the minority in my new area.
