  • As an Oklahoman, this feels accurate.

  • How does it compare to HeliBoard?

  • I drink about 20kg of coffee per year. Those Norwegians are lightweights.

  • I've already replaced It with Home Assistant. Wake words are still shaky, but everything else is at least as good if you're willing to configure it. At least for my use cases.

  • This is very cool. I didn't know about hyprland or game scope, so thanks for that too. My Linux gaming experience is about to get waaay better.

  • I like Our Groceries. It's not 100% free but it's really good. It doesn't do all of those things but it's still worth checking out.

  • 100%, nerding is hot. That look of excitement and focus does a whole lot.

  • Kubernetes is great if you run lots of services and/or already use kubernetes at work. I use it all the time and I've learned a lot on my personal cluster that I've taken to work to improve their systems. If you're used to managing infra already then it's not that much more work, and it's great to be able to shutdown a server for maintenance and not have to worry about more than a brief blip on your home services.

  • There are some antidepressants, like Wellbutrin, that are used off-label for ADHD very effectively, if anyone is interested in a non-simulant option. In my experience it doesn't help so much with focus directly, but it makes the "boring" tasks feel less boring and thus easier to focus on. It's especially effective for those with more of the depression symptoms that often accompany ADHD too.

  • And let's not forget his marvelous performance as the unhinged detective in Leon/The Professional. Chef's kiss

  • Embrace it. Think of awkwardness as your charm and eventually others will too.

  • That's my naming scheme as well. All the big servers are named after the realms. Other devices get monsters, etc

  • I too started with Slackware 3. Downloaded a billion disks from a BBS over a 14.4 modem. It was definitely an improvement over my previous experience of accidentally downloading Minix in Portuguese. That is a hard way to learn an OS or a language, let alone both simultaneously.

  • Thanks! I'm really happy with how the bronze rims are working.

  • Yeah, the protocol is called ForgeFed and from what I recall it will be added to Forgejo, then ported upstream to Gitea. Supposedly GitLab has commented on adopting it in the future as well.

  • This guy coffees

  • Yeah. Hopefully they will get to squash some Nids this weekend!

  • Thanks! It's good to be painting again.
