moved here from lemmy.one because there are no active admins on that instance.

  • I also found that post. They are talking about bad performance on the NAS side though with openmediavault- which I don't have, when I boot into Windows on my main desktop there is no performance issue with the NAS whatsoever. Whatever I think is going on with mine it is debian (client) specific.

  • ALPR's have been proven constitutional because you have no "reasonable right to privacy" in a public place. US courts already hashed this out in the 90s and state that being tracked in public is not a 4th amendment violation- which is 100% total bullshit, but the police state isn't going to take power away from itself. Despite these systems now going above and beyond traditional ALPR systems- police pigs will hide behind the same rulings.

  • luckily for you, the cloud ALPR systems like Flock also identify make, model, color, occupants, and any identifying features like dents, bumper stickers, roof racks, etc

  • There's a bunch of memes floating around normie social media about hantavirus being covid 2.0. I guess with enough mental illness that can be misconstrued into there being a hantavirus lockdown.

  • "Improper and warrantless" but useful to the State.

  • PracticalMachinist is usually my go-to forum for anything machining related, including CAD/CAM.

I don't know of any on Lemmy currently.

  • Support gap too wide, causing model to lift off the supports- Or the bottom and sides warped up, causing them to bow inward and buckle that thin section.

I agree with other commenters, this seems like turning it 90 so the back face could sit flat on the build plate would likely have a lot better results. If that is not an option, lower the support Z-gap and increase the support interface layer density/decrease line spacing. Make sure your filament is dry. Decrease your cooling fan speeds.

  • Understandable

  • Hence why I said no car made past 2010.... Its in the comment.

  • As well as government remote disable and always-on corporate tracking!!!!1!1

Until I can kit my 1991 Accord with a wholly owned conversion I will not be touching one, nor any other car built later than 2010.

  • Molotov Party

  • I'm pretty sure my first gen Subaru Forester with a 1.5" lift has been in more fuckass places than 80% of jeeps ever sold.

  • Thats the Chrysler curse.

  • Tennessee

$10 days he gets a light sentence, a bunch of parole, and a personal ball gargling by the Governor

  • Lucky for you the image of the jewelry is fake... A very, very bad Photoshop. But the post is real.

  • As long as they don’t enshittify

lol you don't know how this works yet

Its never an if, its a when. And that when is VERY soon.

  • This was the best, most futuristic UI ever put on an electronic device and I will hear no arguments.

  • They'd probably just go through a fuel pump and a fresh filter and then be fine lol.

  • 100% this. Ive been through 4 different cad packages professionally and every single one of them is terrible bad awful garbage. Pick your flavor of garbage and get with it.

After a few months of forcing myself to learn it, FreeCAD really isn't that bad. It's miles better than Creo.
