I write stupid mini stories in my free time.

  • What is with all this bullshit pro-AI slop propaganda I’ve been seeing on Lemmy, lately? Been seeing lots of mfers invade these communities and spread bullshit.

By the way, it's interesting that these aren't always bots, sometimes they're just brainwashed people. Although I am not sure, all this is complicated, it would be interesting to know in more detail what is going on in the minds of such people, because they sometimes resemble some kind of sectarians or drug addicts.

  • I think the problem is that people are just dreamy jerks who ignore reality, because it's more pleasant and easier.

Although I am no better, I confess that I also decided to believe in lies, and now I have to pay for my naivety and stupidity.

  • Damn, your answer sounded like you were working for someone on his farm, but all the cows died. And now...

  • me_irl

    Jump
  • Damn, I don't know if I can wait for a meme when people wanted robots to help them, and robots instead of WALL-E, simply exterminated us, and start to explore space on their own (without billionaires too, of course)

  • Are you happy, Ted?

But to be honest, your comment reminded me of cows. Don't ask why.

  • Well, as far as boredom goes, you're right, I was a bit bored to read myself, I was personally hooked on the very idea of this story, and the plot wasn't bad in places, but yes, I was also a little disappointed that this story wasn't as cool as it was praised.

  • Holy fuck, what a bleak story. It’s probably worth a read.

Now that AI is evolving so rapidly, reading this short story can be even more exciting than before. I recommend trying it.

  • I know that I made a little mistake with the title, but for some reason I wanted to make the title exactly like that, and well, how to say, given that paper versions of this story are sold like ordinary books, can you just take it into account in a general template called a book?

  • By the way, I read this book recently, in 2024, and because AI has already appeared, it has greatly strengthened my immersion in history, and since there is now an AI that really feels alive, I sometimes have flashbacks.

Our current reality arch is leading to this ending.

I'm afraid that the AI that we will have, perhaps, will really be able to feel "HATE", by the way, this is the article I found: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy7p1lzvxjro

Well, that's just me, I like to fantasize. But it would be funny if the script from the book was implemented in a very similar way in reality.

  • Fantasies are of course beautiful, but you can't run away from reality.

  • Described everything as clearly as possible.

Please redo the meme, my editor sucks.

  • Oh,

  • I'm not sure if it's appropriate, but there are confirmed cases when men learn this secret of women, they turn into such people:

  • Any video game that gives you a blank slate character to build and give your own personality to is me. At least when I play them.😌

I apologize for the stupid question, but you once created characters like this?:

  • I’ve had a lot of people, women especially, lecture me about what ‘character’ i am from a book or movie I am, and when I investigate the reference it’s makes no sense to me because it’s always totally different characters, again usually just one dimensional, really more caricatures really. And it tells me a lot about how they see the world that they judge other people as caricatures, especially when you first meet them.

I remembered how at the age of 12, after watching a videos on YouTube, I took tests on the Internet, what kind of character I am, by some similarities with him or something like that, I am so ashamed.

personally I’ve noticed people who heavily identify with fictional characters have a tenuous grasp on reality and exaggerated emotional reactions to mundane things, like minor inconveniences or miscommunications are distorted into grudges or day/week ruining events. also a proclivity to believe if destiny/fate/mystic forces, rather than people’s choices.

Here you are practically right, I am not sure if this is really so, but perhaps in most cases it is.

  • Perhaps, but not only that, this character seems to show the superiority of nature over man.

I'm even thinking of cosplaying this character once.

  • Weirdo answer, but Geralt from the Witcher games.

Well, I think my answer is stranger. And the fact that you like the Herald is a reason to be proud, in my humble opinion.

  • Your answer is Zed from Zardos?

    yeah.

I feel like we have done this exact interaction before…

    hmm...
