  • The G29 appears to work when set to PS3 mode. OpenRGB does everything I used Razer Synapse for. I don't know which emulators you use but PCSX2, RPCS3, and Ryujinx work great on Linux. There is a Linux equivalent for CheatEngine. I've never used it however. I have no experience with VR but this might help. I think you'll find alternatives to most things you need. The only way to know if Linux will work for you is to try it.

  • Can you try installing ProtonUp? You can use it to install the latest version of Proton-GE. Proton-GE is a more up to date version of Proton with extra fixes.
