  • They look like Yorkshire Puddings so I would guess they taste pretty similar. They are savoury and don't taste of too much by themselves (but are fantastic smothered in gravy)

  • That's odd. I can view that post in context through the app.

  • This seems to have been fixed now. I can click on comments in your profile that are responses to downvoted comments and view them in context on posts.

  • Mine is currently "Yer a WiFi Harry"

  • This issue has been fixed. Check in the settings for "volume buttons for comment navigation". If you turn that setting off that should fix your problem.

  • Are you able to see your posts when you browse Lemmy via the website (i.e not using Connect)?

  • What post sorting method are you using? (Hot, New, Top etc.)?

  • This is some of the first artwork that does a good job showcasing why all the other characters in the book keep thinking the Hobbits are just children.

  • Nice! I backed the kickstarter as soon as it came out but I haven't played the game yet on TTS. I did watch Jorbs stream it with one of the developers and it looked awesome. "This is the first time I've ever needed one more gold at the store and the devs have actually stopped by to give me one more gold"

  • New rules for bots on lemm.ee & Lemmy programming stream

  • EDIT: I guess I hadn't looked for more webcomic communities in a while and there are more available now which have people actually posting OC to instead of just reposting from elsewhere with no discussion. I'll leave my original comment below regardless.

I'm of mixed opinion about this. I only subscribe to one bot-led community (!comics@lemmit.online) and whilst I hate that every comic is just reposted from Reddit by the bot and so has no comments or discussion, it seems that no comic creators are posting to Lemmy yet and so I would rather still be able to see the content they are creating than miss it entirely. I understand that both the community and the bot are hosted on lemmit.online so they won't be affected by the bot policy of lemm.ee but it still speaks to the problem of lack of content posted to Lemmy in general (at least in certain communities).

  • Yeah that's what I've done in the interim. Not an ideal solution but better than downgrading the app for the time being.

  • As long as you are on version 1.0.96 or higher, you should have an option in the settings to turn off volume key comment navigation that should fix your issue.

  • I forgot to mention in my previous post that there seems to be a bug in this release where you cant open any links in the inbuilt browser (webview). Comments on post work fine but the browser never seems to load anything.

  • You can customize the swipe actions in the latest beta (1.0.98). However this version has a bug where you cant view posts (you can still view comments though) so maybe wait a day until the next update is released.

  • This seems to have been changed in the latest beta (1.0.98)

  • This is included in the latest beta (1.0.98). However, it seems that opening links is broken in this version (can view comments of posts but actually opening the post itself just brings up webview which doesn't load) so maybe wait until a bugfix is released.

  • I can confirm this bug is happening for me also.

I'm on the latest beta (1.0.98) on a Galaxy Fold 4. Happy to provide other details to squash this bug.

  • This does appear to be fixed on the latest update (1.0.97)
