Ah! I skimmed the notes but missed that detail. Thanks. I agree it’s not obvious. Are there other long press interactions? If it’s not part of the design language in other parts of the app, it might be a good idea to rethink that.
Thanks for the feedback. I was sort of looking for that experience of being a student with some adventure alongside. I’ll have to think some more about this!
Anyone have thoughts on a color laser printer? I’ve got a high schooler with the occasional need to print in color, but I’m not sure if it’s worth getting a color laser or just going somewhere to print for those odd jobs, and just getting a regular laser printer.

Docs is the easiest thing to replace, honestly. It’s good, but there are so many alternatives. Sheets, however, as a connected collaborative spreadsheet is harder to replace. Excel is terrible online and tools like Airtable are too cooked for most people.
I don’t experience any meaningful issues either using macOS. Some parts are locked down but I don’t have any issues installing apps, running brew utilities, or using third party extensions.
Found a new spot with really good empanadas. 14yo son is going for his first job interview tomorrow. Looking to slow down a little this week.
@literature how do you find new books to read? For me, it’s YouTube channels, blogs like lovely Audiobooks, the Libro FM blog and the Audible blog. I listen to audio
There's https://beehaw.org/c/literature and there's a couple on Lemmy.ml, but federation isn't working well right now and I don't want to be in that instance.

Currently reading "Blue Earth Remembered" by Alastair Reynolds. It's a bit of "hard" sci-fi about a near-future world where Africa is the dominating technological force. Loving it so far.
Are there any Trek comics you’d recommend? It never dawned on me until now to look for some.
