You have an account on an instance with a very active admin team. We were even the first one to report this specific instance to the rest of the admins. We didn't do it in public to not give them any kind of exposure.
As others in this thread have suggested, you can disable NSFW communities completely by disabling the NSFW flag in your user settings.
With fediseer you can Endorse instances and then you can follow the blocks those instances do. So for example you endorse lemmy.world and literature.cafe and when either one of them adds an instance to their blocklist on fediseer they will also be blocked on your instance.
You can even follow those blocks just for certain tags. Let's say you don't want to follow for "inactive admins" but you do want to follow for "neo-nazis" and "CSAM".
It's pretty cool and the functionality keeps expanding. Before it was more like a ring of trust but the developers have really been listening to what the community wanted and there has been a ton of progress. It's created by @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com and @rikudou@lemmings.world who added the gui and loads of extra features.
It's a disgusting, terrible instance. Back when I added them to our blocklist and fediseer they even had pedobear on display as if they were proud. They have a MAP community and Pedo memes.
That guy above is calling us liars and saying there were no takedown requests while there were. Yes bungiefan was trolling but there was more going on, as I explained in the post I just linked you.
It wasn't just the takedown request, it was also the fact that we were moving to a different hosting company in another country. And having limited resources to handle the DDOS attacks, site moderation AND takedown request. db0 confirming what, that you still need to dedicate resources to it? Correct.
Or block it?
