This so called “economy” loosely translates to like, 12 or 15 companies siphoning away the financial benefits produced by the working class, hence the discrepancy between it doing well and the low wages people have to survive with.
So if they look like lizard people, and speak like lizard people, and when they blink their eyelids move horizontally, doesn’t that make them lizard people? Bunch of cunts, the lot of them. Especially Zuck. Poison of this world and they know it. And by the way, by lizard people I mean literal people that are so distanced from reality that they may well be from another planet.
Lets just say life is complicated and choices were made. I’m a happy man with a beautiful family. But sometimes, at night, they still come to mind and you can’t help but ponder on the what ifs.
I think my point is that you can’t really avoid it. You can just learn to move on. Moving on takes many shapes and one of them is being ok not being with who was once special to you. There will be new people, new faces, new life events and you get used to life as times moves forward. Or you can just get stuck in the story of your past and let that be a burden to your present and future.
There is one tale that comes to mind: two celibate monks reach a river. As they reach to cross it, a woman is seeking help to cross it too but is afraid she’ll drown. One of them refuses categorically to help due to their vow of celibacy. The other doesn’t say a word and carries her on his back to the other side of the river bank. Without saying a word he lets her down and the two monks carry on on their journey. After a short while, the first monk says to the other “how could you help that woman back there? We took a vow of celibacy!” And the other replies ‘’huh? That woman went off my back at the river crossing. Why are you still carrying her?”.
Nuclear would be best I agree, but it takes 20+year to build a station and by the time it’s online, it’s already obsolete. Plus the whole nuclear waste issue. I’ve been hearing about thorium rectors for the past 25yrs and they’re still not building them. The biggest concern with renewables right now is grid integration.
I use lidarr to manage my existing library and use airsonic to listen to it. For me it works great and I can import tracks from my Spotify playlist. But yeah, it’s more of a nice to have, for me personally. I use it mainly to keep things tidy.
