We have free sitting at our office, so I sit in different floors throughout the workweek and sometimes get "the bad chair" if all the good ones are taken. It sucks. I would rather be in a cubicle.
I have a Plex guy. He runs a server and invites anyone he considers a friend, but also gives access to most who ask. He has a giant rig that costs him a lot in electricity bills. But he doesn't mind and doesn't want any money, because he's a sweet person and it's just something he does.
Edit: I'm in Europe; also he always honors requests.
I didn't ask AI to generate new icons, but to extract SVG code from individual icons wee decided to use and migrate my existing icon components to the new SVG code. It's monkey work and I wanted to see if it could manage.
Well, the "mówić" part is not present, the root of the word is more similar to "niemy", meaning "mute"; the Polish word comes from "non-speaker", as in "not speaking at all". but that's just speculation on my part, I'm no linguist or etymologist 🤷♀️
They keep on doing it because it's an addictive substance and/or as a form of self harm, unfortunately. Benadryl is very cheap and easy to get, so troubled teenagers try it looking for a break from reality, thinking hallucinogens are all similar. Then they often get stuck taking it every day, destroying their health. It's very sad.
But for real, for those who are curious: the border between Germany and Poland is effectively the border between western and eastern Europe. So to Slav people Germans lived right over there, and yet spoke something incomprehensible; so we called them "mute" (in Poland at least). If I can't understand you you are mute to me, basically. And the word for "Germans" is the same as for "Germany", so we call the country itself mutes 😅
Isn't this one about foreign bee species, such as honey bees, are introduced into ecosystems where they outnumber native bees? And they eat all the nectar but do a horrible job of pollinating so the situation ends up worse? Sounds like colonization, not racism.
It took him 3 minutes to direct them start to finish, but they were stuck for total of 10 minutes. He didn't start directing them the second they were stuck.
I think you misunderstood my response. The op asked about opinions on things that don't matter. The thing you discuss here matters. So it does not fit this thread. You answering with a whole essay is completely missing my point. How am I not being clear here? 😄
Yeah, it's hard having ADHD and not be able to be enthusiastic about stuff without people thinking you're weird. I don't want to talk about boring shit you're "supposed to" talk about.
