Never actually heard of those software until now. I looked it up and found out something about TLP having default settings---does this mean once I install it, I don't have to touch it again? Or do I have to do something like go into a terminal and install default settings after I install it?
I installed it, I just don't know what the next step is.
It took me a few seconds to figure out what the heck just popped up on the side of my screen, haha! Thank you for the potatoes.
Out of curiosity do you find that neocities is easy to set up for a beginner? I'd like to get into blogging that I don't have to worry about getting comments on. Something where I can just ramble on a bit about how things went that day, what I learned, and then post and never touch it unless I want to reread that day's entry.
I ended up switching to Pop OS! It's cute and I like it and its probably the one I'm most familiar with as I tried it out a few times.
I was thinking of switching from Calibre because of the outdated design, but In another comment @hayden just informed me about Calibre-web which looks...a lot better than the actual Calibre software, so I guess I'll just stick with that!
I'll install Zathura right now and see what the experience is like.
Not too too sure if I'd enjoy it, however I might...used to play games like Virtual Villagers when I was a kid, so it might be similar? I'll look into it!
Have you ever played Deep Sky Derelicts or One Step From Eden? I have those two games in my library from somewhere (I presume Humblebundle) so I'm wondering if those two are good?
Yeah, that's part of the reason why I didn't re-install Linux until recently. I would install it every few years, but it was only recently that I decided to keep it.
I didn't quite know about ProtonDB and what it could do, but I did know that a lot more games are compatible lately so I thought I'd try it out. Linux is doing great it seems!
Oh that's cool as hell. I think I was aware this existed but never explored it in depth? I'll look up how to install it right now and see what my options are. I have a decently sized Steam library so this is nice.
Interesting! Would it be very ram extensive by default, or do you think it depends on the mods akin to how Skyrim or Sims ends up being more leggy once you add on mods?
I was in church camp and eventually came out queer and supported by my family even though they're the ones who put me there. I'm pretty sure it was just a decision for cheap daycare. I also remember nothing from Church other than a fear of God caused by the fact that I was a kid and something about an all-knowing being creeped me out.
Basically: Expect questions. Know that your sister will be confused why the teachers and you may have differing opinions. Explain brains are different for everyone, so opinions are different for everyone. Try to emphasize that she is allowed to form her own opinions too and no one, not even you, can take that away from her. But let her ask questions. Let her ask many questions, because if she's asking questions, that means she's questioning things that are being taught to her. And as her big sibling, you may be a stronger source of inspiration than the teachers are at this age.
"Everyone's gotta be a little bi, right?" -> "Wait a minute...."
Ultimately I still haven't figured out my sexuality. Went from self-identifying as bi as a kid, realizing I'm a lesbian as a teenager, and coming to terms with grey-asexuality, grey-aromanticism, and genderfluidity as an adult. I have opted for queer as a label most days because it's just. Easier, though IRL people know me as just that lesbian that doesn't date.
Don't get into the Trails series.
Not because it's not good, but because the grindfest is definitely better suited for when you have a few JRPGs under your belt.
If you like Persona 5, I recommend looking around at ATLUS's other entries. There's the Digital Devil Saga, Soul Hackers, Devil Survivor, Raidou Kuzunoha, the other Persona series... I really liked Devil Survivor 2 growing up, it was light-hearted in comparison to everything else despite the eldritch gods plot.
