  • Its actually illegal under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK for a product to force a change on its functionality after you bought it.Also surprised if EU law will allow this ?I for one will be seeking a refund for the products either directly or through a court just to show them up.

    Update Note Showing Consumer Rights Act 2015 "Goods Not Fit For Purpose" alone is enough to demand your money back. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/section/10and as it relies on digital content to support them and this is where the main problem is, section 40 applies where they changed it for the worsehttps://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/section/40

  • Come over to Kbin. Honestly I hear some much weird crap going on with Lemmy instances. You can still federate with Lemmy.world unless they block the community. You also seem to be a user on lemmy.ml which isnt .world and could be the reason in itself you're being banned as lemmy.ml has got some weird polices and admin stuff going on.

  • After i saw Cities Skylines 2 is still sticking with unity its put me right off as Paradox is already bad enough at DLC hopefully this isnt for big releases. Its put me off the game though and ive done 1000 odd hours on CS1

  • Just to note all the problems I had with running corsairs software and needing to run it for peripherals. I was on Corsair before logitech and their software going from Corsair Link to Icue all had the same problem with its hardware monitoring which is based on CPUIDs hardware monitoring SDK. I spent years trying to find the problem and trying to bring it to Corsairs attention to which they ignored me to the point I took them to court for all the stuff I owned and they settled out of court. The software was shutting down my video output randomly from polling the gfx card too much. So now I avoid all peripherals or cooling that require software to be constantly running. My Loop which is the picture to PCGaming here > is all running without software and is controlled by the bios instead. So yea i dont recommend Corsair nor NZXT since their software also using that CPUID SDK
