  • I swear my male cat can hear the difference between me pouring myself a glass of milk and any other liquid. I have seen his fat one-eyed ass be fulling asleep in the window to trundling over and meowing for milk. He is the only cat in the house that seems to like milk, so it's his special once a week treat.

    Also why would you presume to know what a being (that as we imagine it) with unlimited power and knowledge would want or even need?

  • When my wife is really upset which is quite often sadly our newest cat will run over to her for attention and beg to be picked up. She has been a great addition to our home and I'm really glad I could save her from the streets.

  • I work nights, so it didn't bother me, but my wife said the upstairs neighbors stomp and yell and stuff all the time from like 11 pm till 3 am all the time. When I would confront them, they would blame it on their religion or their small kids. They would talk about how now that the sun is down, they can eat and would celebrate it. After the third time, I started talking about the scriptures of their religion that tell them to respect their neighbors, and then I started reporting it to the leasing office a few times a week.

    After they were finally moved out, I was talking to one of the leasing people and complained about how they were loud all the time. They asked why I didn't report it more, and I had to tell them that I would have been calling them every single day at least once a day.

  • Because I lived in apartments for my entire adult life until maybe 2 or 3 years ago, and I can say most apartments suck because of the neighbors. Ya my neighbors across the street from me are awful and trashy but they are not directly above me or one wall away from me.

I use to love the game but it became a slog and I got sick of making friends and getting to know people just for them to stop playing or for a guild to fall apart and then having to start all over again with new people. I met my wife in an mmo, and I would love to find a good one that can keep my attention and not be overly complicated, but I can't seem to find any.

  • It also doesn't matter how you dress or the car you drive. The wealthiest person I've ever met dressed in sweat pants or jeans 99% of the time and drove like a 5 year old standard suv most of the time.

    I only found out he was rich when I was talking to another employee at the mall where I worked that this guy would regularly come into the jewelry store and drop 25k on watches for friends like once or twice a month.

    Once I was in the jewelry store when he and his wife were in to get her ring cleaned and my friend casually asked how much they paid for the ring and he was like idk I got diamond wholesale from a friend in the jewelry trade for 250k and paid some Private designer to design the ring and make it for them by hand.
