I agree with the first two, but the third one will happen only when most things catch on fire during the peak hot times. Workers in Texas don't get water breaks in the current heat wave.

Seriously though, internet seems to me to be like a shopping mall and websites tend to be store fronts in the past few years. Search engines have to survive too and tend to be the mall directory. If it wasn't for the fediverse I'd hardly visit any websites.

Not one little bit. I used to be a big fan of reddit, spent 12 years there but as soon as Sync stopped working I deleted my account and never went back.
You might be like me. I prefer the old style, but I don't work in the office much and to try to convince my partner and my friends who do and are used to the ribbon, that there's no need to pay Microsoft, I'll go with the open source ribbon.
