Well chrome = bad. Just look at all the anti-competition things they are implementing just because they are the leaders on the market.
Now they are blocking cookies, it's great isn't it? NO! now they are targeting you through your browser history while blocking competition.
Manifest V3 introduced by Google, that's amazing, now ad blockers won't be able to update their list individually. It's amazing isn't it? Being able to hinder the adblockers when your revenues comes from ads.
There nothing to fix in an OS. Windows and chrome have vulnerabilities which are unfixable by regular people.
What about malware? What about other people knowing the password to your pc?
It's impossible to trust an OS to not get hacked, because it's always the hackers or OS running behind the other.
The excel spreadsheet can be read by anything. And if someone gets hold of it either through malware or access to the computer, they get all your passwords.
A password manager allows to store the passwords in an encrypted file.
The file being encrypted, if the password is strong, may not be accessed easily or fast enough to be worth the effort.
Google only just recently introduced encrypted passwords... Before they were stored in plain text on your computer...
Tho I'm not even sure how that encryption even works.
So... It may not have leaked yet (or maybe it has but Google suppresses everything, who knows) but I wouldn't trust it to keep something safe.
For an addiction, like porn, it is hard to get out because it becomes an habit (it can be compared to gambling...). And changing the habit is very difficult. It becomes impulsive.
A solution to get out of such addiction, is to find another habit (in addition of adequate treatment or therapy). which will take the place of the porn addiction.
A could be similarly be translated to aldult/child content.
As stated in that study, most of the people considered attracted to childrens also have attraction to adult partners/content.
... studies have shown that only 7% of pedophiles are exclusively. The vast majority of pedophiles are therefore non-exclusive and have sex with adults in 93% of cases [2].
So a possible way could be the replacement of the child content with adult content.
Which is where the investigative journal I talked about comes in. I don't remember where and when (not something I look for...). But they went and interviewed a special medical house where people could be put, or go to get help and treatment.
I don't remember the %. But they found some success for people not falling back into children content.
It was in a news/investigation journal on TV at one point. I can't because I don't remember the time and journal.
They talked about people being put in some sort of helping home. There they helped the people get away from such content and replacing it with adult content.
This was pretty recent if I remember well. So the article above being from 2012 may not have all studies and information.
Well, it's not just that "simple" as to satisfy their urges.
An addiction, in a way is the more someone consumes the drug, the more they want that drug.
For some Pedophilia may not be directly inpactful to people around them, however allowing access to such things may worsen their condition. And direct them more towards such content, instead of replacing it with adult pornography.
Help should be available as you said, with a number to call for advice or help. France I think also has such number, not sure if it's still online, I just saw some article from some years ago talking about that.
They may not be choosing it, but accepting they exist and ignoring them is a way to say you accept Pedophilia.
They should know that they do something wrong and that there is help (at lest in France there are processes to try and help them, and it's about the same as an addiction but with other content).
Well tesla has been publicised in multiple places as having bad quality control.
So maybe I could also guess that they cut out some design costs on some models, which may not include battery protection because they would in most cases not get in contact with water.
I am not sure about article, searching for them would need a navigation through a lot of trash articles.
But for lithium batteries, it is often recommended 20-80.
Not sure if there are big margins set by honor at 100% and 0% which would make the phone never close to those values.
If there are, going to 100% and 0% isn't a huge deal, but still can have some more wear on the battery than 20/80.
I don't know about the specific % of wear.
But I'd also assume that battery tech and way of implementing limits can make the degradation % vary. So not sure it would even be useful.
