Just a dog chasing cars. Varied and various hobbies, including but not limited to: rock climbing, ttrpgs, reading, cooking, leatherworking, ceramics, model-building, wargaming, video-gaming, brewing, etc., etc.

  • Huh, maybe I haven't? I could have sworn I had Cradle on my previously-read list, but now I can't find any of the books from the series. Well, I guess I may have a series to dive into!

  • I always found Reddit to be more enjoyable in the niche subculture stuff anyways, hopefully some of those communities move over here. You would think that the admins for Reddit would understand the "innovate or die" mentality, but that unfortunately does not seem to be the case. I too am looking forward to what Lemmy/KBin brings as a replacement.

  • As much as I hate to say it, adequate prose is really important to me. I find it hard to read around lines, and thus have missed out on a lot of great stories. If they have an official translation though, I'd love to check it out!

  • If you've tried reading Wandering Inn you'll get a sense of how long I'm willing to let a story burn if I think it's good. I've read a lot of manwha with cultivators and reincarnators, is this similar?

  • I've tried Dungeon Crawler Carl, it was almost too gamified for me. I have read Cradle, but haven't touched the other two. I'll give 'em a whirl!

Edit: looking at my read-list again, I actually don't see Cradle on there. I think I'll start with that since I could have sworn I'd read it already.

  • I've heard of A Practical Guide to Evil! I thought it was part of the Evil Genius series, but I'll take a look now.

  • Currently reading The Wandering Inn: Volume 7 by Pirateaba.
