www.thassodar.com Been making electronic music for around 4 years. All my music can be located on SoundCloud for the latest, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, Deezer, etc. for all album and EP releases. Patreon under construction!

  • Yes

  • Acquaintance of Big Otrey, mayor of NoBlacques, LA.

  • Hi! I'm a musician with new music that is not dead! Check it out: www.thassodar.com

Bonus: 99% of them are instrumental, and the ones that aren't don't have any actual lyrics and are only on SoundCloud.

  • Don't forget good ol DivX

  • LA Machine Guns with a few Silent Scope levels mixed in, all in a Cyberpunk world? Sign me up!

  • It hit me when he said 5 of my friends with MBAs, and there's only 3 of them.

  • Pardon incoming /s

  • Not sure if the spoiler tag is working, tried to send this earlier but lemm.ee was down:

!spoiler The brunette love interest. Came in, showed interest in splitting attention with Mickey, disappeared the rest of the movie until she shows up with a random girl at the end.

The dictator/politician guy getting puked on by the alien and having a noticeable cough in the later scenes, with no payoff.

The guy in the pigeon suit? Never explained.

The secret team on the deck that facilitated the mutiny by recording the torture of the alien, never explained or hinted at until they literally show up and say "we need more for our team".

The weird Church/cult vibe and hymn? Never explored.

How the alien knew his name before they had a translator or knew English? Alien's answer? "SECRET"!<

  • When I saw it earlier this week with someone and we both thought there were branching stories they started to travel down that ultimately were never followed or explained.

  • You hit it pretty perfectly.

  • I hate to say it but I enjoy Kill Tony and it's one of the most popular weekly stand up podcasts currently. Tony himself is unabashedly right wing, and the show is/was funded, or produced, by Joe Rogan.

  • First time I saw one was at a local brewery about 15 years ago that was warehouse style, so they always had the garage doors open. Helped keep some kind of air movement in high heat.

  • Nobody wants to look sexism in the face, though, and that's why people are downvoting instead of telling me what I've said that's incorrect. It's true that sexism had a part of it too, not just non voters.

  • Sky Roads, Test Drive 2, Jill of the Jungle, Halloween Harry, Jetpack, so many great games that I played the hell out of their shareware versions.

  • Something to consider is a mattress protector that kills bed bugs and seals the mattress from other ones getting in. I don't want to promote them here but I know a company that sells them, but they're not super cheap ($75 to $150). Good side is that it has a 10 year warranty. DM me if you want details.

  • My point is the people we're constantly complaining about not voting, some didn't vote because they didn't vote for Harris to be the primary candidate. I am not one of them, but I think it's a valid argument.

What I'm getting right now is knee jerk reactions to me saying Biden shouldn't have dropped out instead of poopooing on the non voters like everyone else.

  • Unpopular opinion but I'm not seeing many people put any blame on Biden for dropping out after the very first debate. The whole "too old" argument was extremely weak and, unfortunately, a large chunk of men in the United States will never vote for a woman. No matter how strong her stance is, what qualifications, or anything, they are staunchly against a woman in power.

It's unfortunate but dropping out and nominating the VP that nobody really knew for doing anything during the 4 years of Biden wasn't the best option, especially because people felt like they didn't vote for her, and the aforementioned sexism that still exists. If they put Walz up, or even Beto, they would have been better options IMO.

Edit: Not seeing much discussion, just downvotes. If Lemmy is to be better than Reddit I recommend not downvoting only because you disagree.
