It's a shitshow quite frankly and it feels really degrading, so be prepared to test the limits of your mental fortitude. Unfortunately, it really is a case of apply to as many places as possible, get ghosted by 90+% of them until you eventually get something. Be prepared for it to take a while. My friend has been looking for over a year now, and it is just brutal. Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but worth knowing now before you go in.
Ah yes, I liked ghost the best. Stalking a high value target waiting for them to jump and destroy them in a single combo while they are vulnerable and then hiding from the scout ships! You can still play the game BTW. Someone made a bootstrapper that uses steam multiplayer to allow you to play with other people. Most spots will be filled with bots though...
Katana Zero does this. You have precognition and work out how to win an encounter before you actually do it. Later, it explores more interesting concepts like, "what if your opponent also has the same ability". The story is really good, so i won't go into it too much, but I highly recommend.
Are you alright? This is the second post I've seen you make with depressive undertones and you are usually one of the most positive people in the fediverse.
Sounds like you might not have the right graphics drivers installed. For nvidia, you should be using the proprietary drivers. Iirc, mint has a nice GUI for changing graphics drivers, called driver manager or something like that.
I'm right behind you! The only people I haven't come out to yet are in the workplace and can't be ditched as easily if things go sour. I'm glad everything worked out well for you!
Yep, just pick the one closest to what you want, eg static site, reverse proxy, etc. Then remove the ssl stuff and get certbot to regenerate it with your new certificate. (Don't forgot ipv6 if you have it enabled on your system)
