It's got better recently, but it used to be that you can only do that sometimes, and it wasn't clear when the gesture would work and when it wouldn't. Fortunately, it seems that most apps have added support for that recently, so it's closer to the Android back gestures.

It used to be the same on the old site, where there was a wider distribution of opinions. It's interesting to see it here, too, where most opinions seemee bias to one side.
No one cares of it's obvious how it immediately affects them. The problem with uploading sensitive data to the Internet is more subtle, because it usually doesn't affect you right away. But once you've uploaded it, it will be there for many years waiting to be breached...
I haven't tried all of those, but I like Deezer. It plays music and it's much less pushy about podcasts or other crap that Spotify always clutters your start page with. The queue interface is also simpler to use. The only downside I see is that search is noticeably slower than Spotify on desktop.
