  • For the record, let it be noted that I didn't make the mess.

  • The voters continue to speak! And they're unhappy. This is unacceptable.

To placate those angered by the probability of there being a mortgage while simultaneously assuaging the concerns of there not being a mortgage, our guy now may have a mortgage. But here's the great thing for anyone unsettled by that possibility - he may not!

May there now be peace and tranquility for everyone so deeply committed to uncovering The True Facts behind shitposts.

  • Okay, the people have spoken. And I hear you.

You want the guy to have a mortgage.

So our fraudster now definitely has a mortgage.

  • I went ahead and posted it - their first actual FYIP post.

  • How 'bout now? I uploaded it again today.

  • Change the r/ to c/ and you're in bizness.

  • That may be 90 Canuckistan pesos.

  • Unfortunately none. Absconded with this several years back and don't even remember where.

To be a fly on that wall.

  • A guy like this probably has no mortgage.

  • Some things got weird in the wake of yesterday's attack. You and others couldn't see the images, but I (the OP) could. Today, some people could see the images, but I couldn't see any of the maybe 20 images that I uploaded yesterday. I could see images uploaded two days ago.

Today, I re-upped all yesterday's images in the hope that the issue will go away for all. Or at least on my posts from yesterday. I see that there are still issues with some uploads today.

  • I've sat at keyboards beside people studiously working their own. My presumption was that we were working on the same project. Then they have their AHA moment, and show me how they've hacked into our host machine.

They didn't do it for money or to cause disruption. They did it to see if they could, and succeeding was reward enough. Then, happy as could be, they set off in pursuit of their next accomplishment.

Ya never know what's going through others' minds or what motivates them.

  • It's well established that Rdeadit* doesn't make foolish moves. /s

I'm not saying they're behind this. I think they are not. But I'm not ruling them out because of their acumen.

During the event a message flashed on my screen, "This website has been seized by Rdeadit for copyright violation". That suggested two things to me. Rdeadit didn't write that. Whoever did write it doesn't understand how a domain would legally be seized.

  • It's importatnt to hilite printed memes.

  • You wouldn't happen to have the URL for that website part would you? So I can avoid it, of course.

  • An oft-repeated admonition in legal circles is that lawyers should avoid even so much as the appearance of impropriety. And that's before taking the bench. Any suggestion that any of this was done unknowingly is preposterous.

  • mai pen rai

  • I don't know. What are they selling?

  • Meteorism is serious business, not to be taken lightly.
