  • They will only trickle out info as it's discovered by the press or leaked

We are such a surveiled society, they definitely know more people are hurt, they know the impact of the spill, they know how many are impacted by the chemical spill and they likely fear it will come out how they probably worked to get regulation out of the way which allows a failure like this to spill into the river.

  • Bessent just looks so much like a bad parody of a guy you want to punch in the face.

  • "The technology business is more difficult than some may realize, as parts must be tested for quality assurances," Trump Mobile CEO Pat O'Brien said in a statement to CNET."

Fucking Pat sounds like a real rocket surgeon

  • No, this one as well. Everyone's getting on the "bimbo-ing" bus, all for Mr. trump who loves them.

  • Husband has big boobies now... It's going around in D.C.

  • Discissions of this are so completely over-serious... We're looking to breakdown nuance in an autopsy document and the guy who "won" is telling reporters, "Your face is dumb, okay? And to tell you the truth it very actually looks like how a butt looks. You're a real nasty bitch woman for saying a face like that. My uncle you know, he did face, a genius they said even probably, but your face... bitch face. [Wet fart]".

We're a failed nation, it's a hard reality to confront, but it is reality. The freightened idiots feel untouchable, this won't resolve with reasoned debate with strong citations.

Civility is already lost, by definition the Democratic party won't do the law breaking required to compete with this disaster. And that probably means the only win wouldn't fell like a victory at all, because we'd have to stoop so low. The only candidate that might compete today is someone who breaks into the white house ground and writes, "trump kisses my balls" on the walls in his own shit. America is captured.

  • I think this is about what I've heard to date on drawbacks, by as you mentioned, I think I'll take the chance for the privacy benefits.

  • Agreed, some very talented and generous people worked to make it easier and easier, but less options over time when manufacturers started dropping and phones all consolidated and locked down more and more. Even when it was more complex in early days, and greater risk of a brick, you could often restore back to a stock ROM or dual boot in a way so actual risk was minimal if you just slowed down and followed directions - again provided by very generous people who just wanted to make things better.

  • I have a newer Pixel phone and I'm comfortable installing and running custom ROMs from doing so regularly back in the day - for those who've daily driven both, what are the reasons I should NOT switch from the stock OS to GrapheneOS?

  • This isn't a fun game anymore...

    • New Nuremberg trials for all in, and allies propping up, the former regime

    • Transparent audit of everything trump broke and real-time checklist of process to restore critical needs, prioritizing human lives.

    • A lasting and appropriate punishment for trump himself

    • Recovering the funds to do all of the above from trump and complicit billionaires in the private sector - starting with musk for his own crimes against humanity.

    • A job corp to employ all of the AI layoffs, similar to the New Deal's Civilian Conservation Corps. Needs a healthy vetting to avoid left over trump chuds

    • Expand the Supreme Court

    • End Citizens United

    • All trump appointees, in all positions, are removed from offices immediately. If not convicted in new Nuremberg trials, they can still reapply for positions and be consists as any other

    • The demolished east wing will be rebuilt as a simple building and used as a museum to the attrocities that trump committed and the people and institutions that enabled him. An artist will be commissioned to design a pitch black facade, perhaps in the shape of the old building. It should look out of place and awkward, and stand forever as a sort of black eye on America. To show how the nation was injured and not cover it up. There will be legislation to perpetually fund the museum and make admission free to all.

The future will require a simple understanding - there was not an equivalency here, no two valid sides. The was objective wrong and right. No more pretending

  • Cool Joe. This person spoke with unchecked righteous indignation and just a booming unearned confidence - all while they are vacant when it cones to the nuance of the discussed situation. In that scenario, my goal isn't a respectful exchange of ideas with a peer, it's something to maybe knock them off the unchecked BS they are likely spewing left and right in real life and online. As represented by their expressed opinion here at least, this person is the third person in the sinking boat in that well circulated cartoon - and that person sucks.

We're all frustrated with the lack of action in places before and presently, that said there's a reality that informs how and why a lot was done (or not done) and if a person doesn't care enough to educate themselves of that enough to inform their online vitriol, then they aren't expressing a mature POV - they instead express something more similar to a child's approach to a complex problem before their brain has fully formed. So I'll likely continue on, but appreciate the conversation.

  • Do timelines, projected with appeals and delays, mean this will get to SCOTUS right before the election?

  • Last admin didn't do enough AND you have a child's point of view of the nuance of that actual situation and the board of governors. Also, as others have pointed out, DeJoy is gone, but only to go back to privately grifting. Further, last admin was the most progressive of my lifetime, but it still wasn't enough. You seem to gauge success based on your gut and guess what your gut is full of, friend?

Try not to speak with righteous, blustering confidence while your head is all the way up your ass... The words get muffled and it's hard to hear you embarrassing yourself.

  • You're bringing a lot of personal momentum to your responses obviously. My point was clear, state specific issues to allow the potential for specific answers. If you're moving in good faith, that's the approach.

The perspective here is one of someone resistant to change, blaming FOSS as an easier scapegoat. Always simplest to blame the tool over the operator... And often, that "dumbshit, broken printer that won't print!!!" Just wasnt plugged in.

    Your rebuttal is borked.

  • I appreciate you attempting expansion, I will say it is still difficult when you're asked for specific detail and your response consistently States generalities like:

"lack of support" - meaning what, feature isn't there at all? Doesn't display existing tables from uploaded excel docs?

"has serious issues" - meaning... what are they?

    "results in issues" - ...

    "...is borked" - c'mon

and "incredibly slow " - relative to what? Double time of expected from excel? Triple? Extra two seconds per attempt?

You're using subjective terms that mean people can't A) determine if you're problem will impact them as well and B) you're not describing your perceived issues well enough to allow experts reading along here, now or in the future, to offer you actual solutions or alternatives.

That considered, it makes you come off as a person who doesn't want their perceived problem solved.

  • Probably more credibility if you actually give real, specific examples of what you cannot do on Libre Calc that you require?

  • Rubio slashes the percentage of fit in his shoes by 40%
