  • 🤢 that's pretty bad. Glad I happened to catch this.

  • True, but specifically USA targeted black people to fill their prisons with slave labor. Crack to this day is still treated much worse than cocaine despite the insane multiplier having been lowered.

  • The cousin of thought terminating labels. Usually applied to other humans.

  • past tense

I still use these things. People who post this shit are telling on themselves.

  • Some of you may die~

But it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

  • FUCK

  • If black people like the sun too much, probably.

  • Good advice for everyone.

I leave the door open yep, clean the drain trap too.

I should try anti fungal instead, we'll see if it does better than vinegar. The cheap bulk white vinegar does work, I just have to do that twice a month and remember to wipe down the gasket frequently.

  • Personally I'm just very picky and increasingly so as I age because there's a lot of retread ground I'm unwilling to pay to retread. I have no...interest really... for average/mediocrity. People say time or energy, but I always find those two things when I'm really into a game, so I don't think it's that. It's fine, I've found new hobbies when I have nothing to play.

I also almost never replay anything. I'm the same with books and shows/movies. One and done.

A well written story will get me to forgive A LOT of bad however. The first NIER game, Replicant, comes to mind as a perfect example. The gameplay is repetitive dogshit, but I didn't care. The story is amazing and motivated me through.

But I'm not some weird gatekeeper. You're not doing something you need to be defensive about. Your way is not inferior somehow. Unless it was somehow financially harmful to you or loved ones relying on you is how I view it.

Plus, I rely on guys like you who recommend the stand-outs in their otherwise mountainous pile of shit :p so thanks! haha.

A lot of the really obscure stand outs I find by digging through Steam's new releases myself, github, aggregators like lemmy, etc, or from variety game streamers who don't chase trends. Tomato for example occasionally picks something new with no reviews that looks interesting and I end up obbessed with some flopped indie game like Knight's Try Just perfectly on point physics and difficulty. Don't judge a book by it's Unity engine aping Mario 64 cover.

  • To see the mold growing in the side loader machine's silicon gasket that never dries out of course!

Also because that's what the house came with and it didn't break yet.

I kill it with vinegar filled wash cycles now and then but it's annoying and recurrent. Top loader with dumb knobs and a metal lid next if they die before me.

  • Where I live it's frankly too dry for uniform grass lawns and dandelions will completely take over if left alone. I'd be fine with it if I didn't find the green jagged leafed plant and milky red stems so fugly, never mind the nice yellow flower.

I've been overseeding with white clover and native wildflowers since moving in both of which thrive in the spring choking out dandelions naturally. Puts nitrogen back into the soil too unlike grass.

All I do is aerate now.

Better for the bees in two ways. One, I'm not spraying chemicals and two, dandelions are actually pretty shit tier from a bee perspective.

  • Track 2! Haha thanks.

  • If I wake up in 1875 right where I am and a birch tree hasn't appeared through my chest, then I'm a half hour hike away from Fort Saskatchewan. A North West Mounted Police outpost+jail and they'll speak English I can understand in 1875.

In 1879 they'll hang a whiskey addicted Cree man who killed and ate his six children, his wife, mother, and brother. Swift Runner or Ka-Ki-Si-Kutchin. Got kicked out of the fort (I think he worked there? So he might be around already), and then his own tribe kicked his dysfunctional ass out too before he did this.

From Canada Day I wandered through a few times the new replica Fort the city built and read the history placards. So I'd also know a few of policeman names, some trivia about them, and how some of them would die. Mostly by fighting natives. Most of them were cunts frankly. Yes yes very surprising to nobody.

  • The game is sorta crap even though I like it, but I find The Blues Brothers NES OST very comfy.

  • Age of Empires 2 /w The Conquers expansion pack.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1. (2 was weaker without OpenRCT2, the real masterpiece, but idk if unfinished projects should count or not)

Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament 1999 GOTY, Worms Armageddon, SimCity 3000 Unlimited, Forza Horizon 2 / Motorsport 3, Need for Speed Underground 1, Clonk! Rage, Metal Gear Solid 1/2/3, Ace Combat 4, Okami, Tokyo Jungle, Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey, Sven Co-Op, Killing Floor 1, Final Fantasy 7, LISA: The Painful, Everhood 1, Deus Ex 1, Left 4 Dead 1/2, Portal 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2... Champions of Norrath and Return to Arms, Diablo 1, Baldur's Gate 3 makes the list...NIER both games. Planet MiniGolf.

I could go on and on.

  • That's an AM4 slot motherboard then! I'd look up the latest motherboard BIOS update, and then throw in the best used CPU you can too. The 450M chipset can support up to Ryzen 5000 series.

A 3800X (~100 CAD used) Ryzen or better is still plenty powerful paired with a modern GPU. Zen 2/3 is way better than the first gen for IPC.

5000 series are still pretty expensive however.

  • I think we've known this about Ring cameras for awhile now at least. Lowkey I kinda seethe about any neighbors buying that spyware shit. It's not like the fucking cops give a singular shit about home robberies anyways.

  • Glad this take is here, fuck that guy lol.
