Hi, I'm also Terencio on mastodon.social and Sergio on piefed.social. I mostly use this account to make posts that are easier here.

  • well, at the end

...the kid from Terminator is up there looking through her stuff and sees all the photos that she took of him. So no, it seems like that's reality.

BUT after a couple seconds of credits, there's a scene where that dog is running with that foot in its mouth. But there wouldn't be a foot if it wasn't real? That was a bit confusing.

Also, the Terminator kid does kinda git the girl, I mean she kisses him on the mouth and says they'll talk about it later. I think he liked her better bc she played it coy and didn't just fall into his arms.

I kinda thought when Terminator kid was looking thru her photos, he was gonna find another "Brainscan" disk. Then she'd come out of the other room with blood on her hands and mouth bc she just finished killing Biff, and she'd be like: "Some Brainscans are realer than others" or "you seemed to enjoy it so much..." or something.

I also kinda thought that the whole Brainscan thing was gonna be from his father.

  • I think a lot of times that's just lack of familiarity bc the better restaurants are newer.

  • There is good Latino food in the midwest and northeast now. Just look for smaller restaurants, or food trucks.

  • This is plainly true.

Whenever I read a statement like this, my BS detector fires up.

A 2014 study in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that test subjects who showed difficulty getting up off the floor without support of hands, or an elbow, or leg (what’s called the “sitting-rising test”) resulted in a three-year-shorter life expectancy than subjects who got up with ease.

I did a bit of judo and they made us get up without support. At first it was very difficult but after a bit it was pretty easy. I encourage you to try it, it's a good skill to have. (besides adding 3 years on your life, allegedly?)

a higher incidence of knee and osteoarthritis issues.

Anecdotes are about as reliable as gurus, but anecdotally I find that there's bad squatting and good squatting. e.g. keeping knees and feet pointed out as in Sumo, is much easier on my knees than keeping knees and feet pointed forward as in Shotokan.

  • There is indeed "so much to unpack and learn from an exchange like this." Unfortunately I don't think she's going to learn it.

  • omg I didn't even think of that. fwiw I think they're from somewhere in Europe.

  • hmmm.... historically, coca leaves were holy to the indigenous people of the andes and still play an important cultural role. ok, that's all I'm gonna argue.

  • oh it gets even worse than that. the coca leaves are shipped to Jersey so the cocaine can be removed before use in the drink! source.

  • Thirded. In fact, in "a corpus of VIC-20 software", just knowing that the programs were there, were used, their size, how they were implemented, etc might be useful. For sure extract the most interesting-looking stuff first, but if you have time, do as much as you can.
