  • I provide my usual advice. Volunteer. It's local, you meet people, usually the kind of people who Volunteer for things (meaning good people). Even if you don't find a date it can build your social network which will help.

    As for specially fellow Ace people you may try pride, or LGBTQA+ events. Somtimes (the ones that accept us) will have some Ace representation.

    One alternative may be to look in the Nerodivergent spaces, if you happen to a part of that community.

    Not to assume. But someone back on reddit mentioned that a study had shown disproportionate number of us are in the autism spectrum. This is true in my case and with the few other Ace I've met offline. When I eventually get back into dating I may give Hiki a shot along with the volunteering.

  • The garlic bread thing is nice and all, just ease up on the cheese and butter, one day as an adult you go to your doctor and the exclaims "your chlorestoral isn't supposed to be this high, your going to have a heart attack". Adulting sucks.

  • Advice I'd give is to get some proper gaff tape for those wires. It will prevent trips and protect them. There os a specific way to apply and remove the tape when gaffing you may want to look up. This will prevent any potential floor damage.

  • Depends on the country for much of this I'd imagine. If your dependent on imports of common needs then you'd be creating a need for a massive transit network to supply it.

    Though the study should focus on the number and not how people use it. I could speculate that if all your neighbours have the same number as you you'd be tolerant of that.

  • Yhea thatd probably increase the score a bit. I whouldnt consider any kind if offsetting either. Even if your taxes go to Healthcare and support systems it doesn't subtract from the amount going to military spending, wars, weapons, ect. Even smaller things like road expansions, and law enforcement count. Depending on the area these can cause more death.

  • That's a pretty broad question. I have a few, both sound and light. The light one isn't related to my autism. The sound one is common. For me it's just loud noises or the sound of bass comming through my walls.

    Though if you mean sensitivities to touch, there's a lot of those. I'm uncomfortable with people touching me. I know my roomate has a lot of issues with certain food textures.

  • I found a bug once in our content that only affected Firefox. Old versions of articulate whouldnt start properly. Not somthing I could fix on my own as i meeded anyoher department. I brought it to the attention of the managers. They didn't want to fox it as apprently Google analytics showed only .4% of our user base was using Firefox. I manged to convince them its part of our user commitment to ensure that we work consistently across all browsers, but it was a pain.

  • I did some digging on these also show its an American group paying for it. I've reported the group to google a few times for other complete lies.

    there's some instructions in there on how to remove all information that adsense has on you and your browsing history. After doing that i was flooded with ads for dating sites that had porn videos playing over them at a light transparency. Others have been less subtle. Reporting it at best well make it so you stop seeing the ad after a few months but everyone else still does.

    I'll just pop back over to an open source solution.

  • I was doing food prep as they are eating. I'd feed him then make my own food and his next meal. He didn't care about what I was doing as he was either too busy eating or enjoying his post food nap.

  • You could try preparing the food ahead of time if possible?

    This may eveually cause them to release that the preparation of food doesn't always mean that they will recieve the food.

    Or they will just annoy you at all times you are in the kitchen.

    Some take my bitching and moaning that I was up all night working on ____ because the project is a complete mess and they wanted it today as "bragging".

    Its performance review time, i hate myself and rent is expensive.
