  • I wouldn't be upset if there is no new Fallout game for a decade or two. I really recall some article or some interview or maybe an opinion piece that said about how stretched for ideas Bethesda has made with Fallout as is. What we already have here of Fallout is more than enough.

Bethesda should be more worried about how they're going to go about with Elder Scrolls VI.

You could have the most cuddlest creature with you.

  • See, UK, go after Sony. Leave Valve alone.

  • I think by 'bills' they mean 'we need to pay licensing fees for the random shit we decided to incorporate into our shitty battle royale game'.

I've seen the likes of Eminem, random nobody streamers, Jason Voorhees, washed up things become just things in Fortnite. You know, why not go all the way, get the entire cast of Seinfield, Friends and other no-nonsense shit in there while you're at it.

Epic only looks like the dumbasses here because they truly believe that these things are all what people would want. When they're catering to a generation that would not have any clue who any of these things are in the past 20 - 40 years ago.

  • He's living on the edge. I bet he's also a juggalo who peaked in middle-school. Let it go.

  • That problem can be applicable to any service where you lost an e-mail, you know you're registered to them, but for some reason they didn't think things through enough about these kinds of scenarios happening. So they just subject people to automated circle-jerking or asking for blood samples to prove you're with them before even lifting a finger.

Any sane and good service would've changed the e-mail to the one you're on.

  • He conceded that earning $100,000 could mean wild success for one team or "total disaster" for another, but reiterated his belief that "dramatically more games" are finding success on the PC storefront.

I don't know with that. I think most teams would be happier getting more than 100k. If you're an indie team and you're driven by how well you want your game to go, I would think you'd like to make more than 100k. Especially given how games bigger than yours go to multi-million statuses.

Also he never described what number of said team that 100k would be good for. I think maybe a 2-person team. But more than 2, like 10, then making 100k would be considered a total disaster scenario.

  • With Linux, you can actually take out software you don't truly need. With Windows, most of the time you'll only just disable it and only remove a handful of software. Microsoft gives you the illusion of owning your PC.

  • It starts becoming an issue though because of what I mentioned about what Valve does with Steam. For the longest time, people used Windows XP out of protest because they didn't like Vista or they'll use 7 out of protest for 8.1 or even 10. Then Valve one day decided to axe Windows XP support for Steam. Then they did it for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.

We see this happen all of the time with browsers, there will eventually become a point where you have to force yourself to either upgrade or jump ship.

  • For me it's not about whether it is more work or not. It is more along the lines of, tolerating microsoft's bullshit for any longer. Windows 10 in more ways than one, has teetered me towards the edge of switching. Because I hate stupid mandatory updates, I hate how insultingly stupid it is to use a Windows system these days and every dumb decision Microsoft has made that has turned Windows into what it is and what it will be in the future.

I won't mind a little work to use my machine, long as it frees me from all of that bullshit.

  • That's why you don't buy from them

  • Okay so the problem with space travel is numerous and I don't believe we'll see anything beyond reaching Mars and the Moon in our lifetime.

First thing, we need everyone on board to back NASA and be intelligent enough to figure out where exactly what we want to do. We keep finding these earth-like exoplanets, so why not start there?

The other thing is, to achieve the level of space travel we need, on the levels of where Voyager-1 and Voyager-2 is going in length of space, we'd need to spend significant time and resources building the materials and ships needed for that kind of travel.

Like I said, this won't be done in our lifetime. We're probably several lifetimes out.

  • Kia Seltos. I got it for its AWD and not-so big SUV size.

I actually want to drive a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. Problem is, I can't drive stick to save my life and it's a vehicle I'd only love to drive during spring/summer/autumn but tuck it away from winters. In a better life, I'd have both vehicles to meet the demands.
