  • FR, first I've heard of it.

  • That's why they're conveniently not part of the inflation equation.

  • All I want alexa to do is turn my lights on and off, set timers, and show me my own pictures. And it can BARELY do that without fucking it up. Everyone I know wants the same, they expect nothing more from it. "AI" features of Alexa aren't t needed or wanted by anyone I've talked to about it.

  • You can use Linux and still have a Microsoft account.

  • That must be why I've been getting a million 2fa emails recently asking me to verify my Microsoft account sign in.

  • The 1 thousand dollar monitor stand blurs the line between accessories and "should be required to be part of the package"

  • Was just about to point out they could have taken any of the 1000 frames from the video of the actual incident but instead chose a stock photo.

  • Listen to this scam.I stopped at a Starbucks kiosk to get my kid a juice box the other day. When I paid for it by card the card machine prompted for a tip, 25%, 20%, and 15%. Here's the kicker, 25% was selected by default! You actually have to use button on the machine to move through the selections to get to NONE. To top it off the lady behind the counter casually said, "Oh you're using a card? Just press the green accept button when the menu comes up." which would have selected the 25 option.

  • If someone tries to kill you, you kill them right back.

  • A mile of city traffic is tremendously different than a mile of rural driving.

  • Just had a 48btu unit installed. 2,000 sqft, 3 - 9k wall units, 1 - 18k ducted unit. Operational down to -22 F.

$20,000 and then a $4,300 rebate and later a $2,000 tax credit. Down right affordable. Would have been even less if new ductwork didn't have to be retrofitted.
