  • Less than 20% of Americans should be donating to charity. Half are living paycheck to paycheck and another 30% on top of that do not have enough money saved for retirement. If the rich paid their fair share of taxes, we wouldn’t even need charities.

  • For a single person 80k is more than enough. For a family I would say 130k or more depending on where you live. Some places the cost of living is very low and 100k for a family is more than enough

  • One of my favorite things to see is when a random 2 tile snow island spawns a barbarian encampment and it gets left alone until late game and it starts spawning AT Crew units.

  • I’ll 2nd the Talos Principle. It’s my favorite game ever. Not for replayability but the gameplay is just that good.

    Also if you like exploring, the Mudrunner games or Snowrunner would be fun. It’s a trucking simulator.

  • If you have them installed, right click on the file and choose properties. There should be a compatibility tab that will let you choose an older version of windows to run it on. Also running as administrator can sometimes fix it too.

  • Ironically all the data shows that hantavirus isn’t a big deal because it doesn’t spread person to person unless it’s the Andes strain. The stuff we see right now is sensationalist headlines for clicks and views. As long as you stay away from rodents you won’t get it.

  • Japanese has a cheat code though. If you try to say English words with a Japanese accent they can mostly understand you. Words like hamburger and strawberry are a good example.
