Someone opposed to fictional taboo ships who judges people for liking or making them. The latter part is crucial because a lot of proshippers don't care for taboo stuff but they don't look down on those who do.
I don't doubt some proshippers are groomers. There are a massive amount of proshippers, especially outside the west like in LATAM and Asian fandoms so it happens from time to time and other proshippers call it out.
What is true is that there a massive amount of evidence of vocal antishippers being guilty of sexual harassment and abuse among other things. https://ultimate-shipping-sources.carrd.co/#documentation I think it's a symptom of a patriarchal problem where weird groups are scapegoated to draw attention from normies who actually commit sexual abuse because it's normal in this kind of society.
There's no mutual exclusivity here. He's a victim, yes. Same as how many advocates of corporal punishment are also victims of it. If we think deterministically enough, we're all victims of circumstance. But you can be a victim and an oppressor, and he is not as much a victim as Good was. Being ruthless to the system requires neutralizing these people whatever their circumstances are.
It's a phenomenon that demands serious attention. People have been doxxed, outed, sexually harassed, made targets of racial and sexual bigotry, and killed over being seen as "disgusting".
It's gotten to a point where doxxing and wishing/threatening abuse on people is extremely commonplace and well-documented. It shouldn't be a big deal but it is.
I'm not talking about successful artists like Rowling. I'm talking about the artists seeking commissions and hopeful entrepreneurs in fandom spaces OP was talking about where the phenomenon OP mentioned is rampant and perpetuated by said artists. I've constantly seen it myself and I was relaying an explanation I heard from a Marxist. Fandomers in LATAM, Vietnam, China, all can vouch for this phenomenon and it actually caused some controversy and conflict when Americans went to Xiaohongshu.
I've seen the theory that purity culture was brought about by the decline of the US economy. As it becomes harder and harder for artists to sustain themselves off their work, they begin to find reasons to shame other artists and reduce competition. They're petty bougie in a bougie culture after all, and they're in direct competition with eachother. In non-English fandoms, purity culture is mocked as a western phenomenon. It's a big reason why I think art should be decoupled from profit entirely, sooner than factory jobs at least.
From what I understand, disorder is the wrong term because both the DSM and ICD says the attractions are only disorders if they cause distress or if someone who has them abuses targets of them, which implies to me that many other people simply possess the attractions and go through life just fine (or are bullied or self-hating for being a "freak", I've seen suicide rates). What's unnatural yet disproportionately common is abusive behavior, because it's instilled into people under this patriarchal society to abuse and exploit easy targets for power and gratification. Surprisingly, based on what I read, the overlap of abusers and those who preferentially have the attractions is small.
I'm a victim of CSA as are many of you because of how normalized it is and you're correct. Molesters act mainly out of power and a desire for stimulation no matter who's receiving abuse.
It's the former. I know of her. She was a minor who advocated for decoupling the terms pedophilia/zoophilia from molesters and abusers. I think she was institutionalized by her parents.
Update; following the recommendations here I looked into Bazzite and I think I'll use it. It's perfect for your GPU.
Edit: Using it. It's smooth as it gets.
