  • I definitely was looking at porn on my 240x320 Nokia screen.

  • HMD (Nokia) Skyline has a cool feature where you unscrew 1 screw and can change various things like battery. Unfortunately phone itself is not impressive especially from OS update standpoint (only 2 year support for major Android versions). I would love to see this idea being copied by other manufacturers.

  • No, just searched their page for ″horse″

  • It's a good Chromium based Windows native browser that has integration with your Entra ID account so all your bookmarks / history is automatically synced and users have seamless experience when switching devices. No longer seeing tickets like ″My bookmarks are gone after I reinstalled my PC″ is enough to consider Edge as your company main browser. And the fact that it is part of OS, you do not need to worry about install and patching.

I prefer Firefox, but from Chromium browsers Edge is really good, you cannot expect companies to suggest something like Vivaldi.

This is for companies being in M365 ecosystem. If you are in Google then I suppose Chrome would make more sense.

  • I could relate and have experienced at some point in my life all of these issues except that squeezing method. I personally just let tea bag in cup for 5 min or so and then squeeze it with my fingers when it is not boiling hot.

  • Should keep it fresher since you should keep tea in air tight containers and it is more hygienic so good for workplaces. For home use I stick to loose leave teas.

  • Slice & Dice is really good. If I play something on phone it is either that or Slay the Spire.

  • I think it wouldn't fly either since verdict was that this is GDPR problem - there was no need to collect this info.

  • Isn't every time you need to take a shit, an emergency?

  • As with all predicters, you throw 1000 things at the wall and 1 will probably stick. No one remembers the 999 fsiled ones.

  • All those things existed before. Perhaps something changed in their ship maintaining routine to cut costs.

  • At least on Pro / Enterprise / Education edition there are no ads. Maybe I have disabled them, no idea. It could be that this is a thing in Home edition that cannot be easily disabled, have never used Home edition in my life to be honest.

Recall is an optional feature that will run on specific CPUs and it will be local unless something recently changed. Would I use it even if I could? No, I don't see a need, but it probably will be useful to many.

  • It is almost the same as Windows 8 underneath. W11 for almost everyone should feel just like a new skin with couple more features. There are some annoyances, but I have not seen anything yet that I would consider dealbreaking.

  • You can still read news, no need to be uninformed.

  • On Windows Paint is like Notepad. Barely functional. There are layers now though, which is a step into right direction. For anything decent you need 3rd party software.

Or use online editor like Photopea or Vector Ink. Checked just now and you can warp text there.

  • This applies to almost everything tech related whenever there is an official support and non-standard issue. These people (or bots) just follow some script and as soon as there is a bit more complex or non-standard situation, they will have no clue what to do because they are not technical.

As far as Microsoft Support Community goes, if issue is popular there often is a decent answer deeper in thread, do not focus on ″best answer″.

As per this, it seems these Independent Advisors are outsourced by Microsoft from some company called Directly. Answer is from 2019 November so it might be outsourced to different company now. There might be also several. Same happens with at least M365 enterprise support. I have seen supporters from Accenture and other companies.

  • I think it's a puzzle

  • Who wouldn't? This is hilarious
