  • Is this taking action against Israel or against israelis. Would you be fine if your country's government did something and then people who you dont know were aggressive towards you?

How does this action help Palestine in any way?

Greece is the most antisemitic, non muslim majority, country in the world. I am greek btw.

  • They did this in Sweden too. Then people stopped buying energy drinks, because most people self checkout and you had to wait for an employee to come check that you are an adult. And swedes being swedes, they would rather die than go through that.

Now they have a permanent employee checking from afar with a tablet, approving people without any intervention or interruption. I wouldnt be surprised if the energy drink brands partially pay for them.

  • Size matters. A bigger screen is a big quality of life improvement for both work and content consumption.

On the other hand, a smaller and lighter laptop is more comfortable to use and carry. Personally i think 13" is the ideal laptop size. If you want to use it more as a desktop replacement, you can always plug in a monitor.

  • Fun fact, in Europe you dont have to remove your shoes, yet noone has bombed any planes.

  • Volvo already has electric car factories in Europe(and in the US), ie in Belgium. It is only Polestars(and some early electric Volvos) which are made in China.

So far the chinese owners are pretty hands off. They have provided unprecedented capital and electric car platform technology to Volvo. In exchange they got access to all Volvo knowhow about car interior design and safety(and profit from car sales).

  • I didnt know Canada was Australia. I always thought Canada was too cold for this shit.

  • Andor and the Knights of the Old Republic(kotor) games are the best star wars content because ultimately, they are great content with good writing and characters. Everything else is pretty mid(with some cool music or visuals). Mandalorian season 1 was decent.

  • Homer's Odyssey, literally the thing that defined epics and the oldest surviving literature, has a scene, where Odysseus finally manages to return to his home and see his dog.

I wont spoil it, because a movie is coming out. But then again, you had 3000 years to read it, if you still havent read it, do you even care?

  • Star Rail isnt an mmo. And while it has many "progression mechanics", they are slowly introduced to the player. And once you understand them, you dont really need to think that much about them. It is basically an anime+idle game.

You watch your anime episode every now and then and you afk farm daily for a couple mins(so that your characters slowly become stronger). You dont need to think loads of time to understand them but i guess it depends on what you mean by loads of times. Maybe i have played many games(mobile and conventional), so i dont have any issues with the systems.

If you want to build a character, you can choose them and the game will highlight their ideal "gear" and "stats", though those recommendations arent always perfect. If you want to tryhard, you can use this site

    https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/tier-list/

And see what gear and stats are ideal for your character. Or just use your brain. Most dps like crit damage/rate, attack and speed. Most supports really love speed. Or watch a guoba video about the character you want to gear. Ultimately, if you afk grind gear, it doesnt take a giant brain to understand that the dps set, wants dps stats, or that the break set wants break damage stats.

  • I used to believe that too, because it was pointless. But it seems that i was wrong. The fact that it was pointless, means that the corporations felt comfortable with using and abusing that to maximize profit. The fact that they are afraid to do that, indicates how fucked things are now.

So i am ok with corporations using movements for marketing reasons, because ultimately this is the canary in the mine. If the corporations consider it a brand risk, then society is moving towards the wrong direction.

  • They use the same terms of service for mobile games and they just dont bother to change it for pc games.

  • With almost a million people migrating out of Greece and tourism bouncing back hard after covid, of course unemployment will be lower in Greece. But outside of tourism, Greece is a zombie country.

Most of the people migrating out of Greece are young and educated. This will significantly affect the future of the country, both from a demographic point of view and policy.

For the first time ever, right wing parties got over 50% of the votes. Greece is a historically leftist country. The governing conservative party has like 3 right parties, further on its right in the parliament. Neonazis, christian talibans, you name it.

And while the governing party is trying to appeal to centists(in order to keep the left busy with in fighting), they also pander to the far right. And the worst part? The government has demolished freedom of press, increased spying on citizens and opposition, etc.

The stage is set for a greek Orban, but the current prime minister lacks the charisma and appeal. The infrastructure is there. Hopefully this will also reignite the leftist reaction instincts. Which is why the current prime minister is keeping a relatively low profile in regards to social issues(antiwokeness).

In fact, he made gay marriage legal in Greece and all the European leaders rejoiced. Except the only reason it wasnt already legal was because of his party. All other parties(except the neonazis and the communists) supported gay marriage. Many members of his party voted against it, but the law passed because the opposition supported it.

  • Greece doesnt have hummus. It exists in supermarkets but it is niche. It is probably considered more exotic in Greece than most of Europe.

However olive oil is used in all foods and for frying too. It is the nectar of Gods.

  • Noone identifies as rich, because as you become richer, your social circle also becomes richer. So you never really feel rich, because there are other people who are, significantly, richer than you.

If you dont worry about food, shelter and healthcare then you are rich(or at least "middle class"), ie free to do whatever the fuck you want with no risk or fear. You can have very low personal net worth but if your family(and/or society) has your back, no matter what, then you are not poor.

And since Norway has one of the highest home ownership rates, among non shitty countries, then even from a networth point of view, most norwegians probably have 500k+ € networth. Most countries with high home ownership are poor countries, where houses are cheap and shitty(people are migrating out of the country, so a lot of houses are available). Or countries like China and Singapore, where housing is a major priority for the government.

And in before "communism", Singapore is one of the most capitalistic countries on the planet. But providing housing is a big part of their social contract and how the dictatorship has managed to maintain control over the country for over half a century with minimum opposition. And tbh, the chinese government is similar. Authoritarian but provides economic prosperity/housing in order to keep society stable. Also communist mostly in name but actually capitalistic.

  • Is it because they are rich and dont want to cook?
