Man, that reminds me of an art installation that I saw many years ago, where an artist set up a bunch of home electronics in a completely dark room so that their LED lights looked like star constellations.
It was kinda beautiful and yet a reminder about all the "light pollution" we get from these devices, basically what you are talking about.
I tried to look up the name of the artist and that art installation, but couldn't find it.
I bought a flip phone (Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3) a year ago, and it's so much more comfortable to have in my pants pockets that I feel like I will never buy a non-flip phone again...
But also what everyone else says: customizability, etc. I'm using Tasker to run automated tasks, and KLWP to essentially program my own live wallpaper.
I have an Android phone, but also an iPad, so I used to use Sync and Apollo. The best thing about Wefwef / Voyager is that I can use the same app on both devices now!
I have bad hearing, but I have a bad habit of just giving up after the first repeat if I still can't fully hear what they're saying, instead of asking people to talk more clearly because of my hearing issues.
According to the article, it isn't just about property owners who refuse to pay, some poorer houseowners are just not able to afford paying to replace the pipes because it's a pretty high cost.
I think I kinda noticed too, I suspect it could be because some of the CGI 3Dish background panning look jittery in 24FPS because I'm used to playing 3D video games in 60 or 120FPS lol
Was not noticable for a majority of the episode and did not bother me much in any case.
Since I'm going on vacation tomorrow, I ended up finally beating the boss today, but I do want to find all the armor pieces too yeah... Will see if I keep going after my trip, or if I end up being distracted by other games. (Which is why I usually try to avoid beating the end bosses in games before I've done all/most of the sidequests)
I got the Master Detective Archives: Rain Code collector's edition waiting for me (new game by the Danganronpa team)
or he could've asked "what cartoon do you remember from your childhood" to get a rough idea, just like all those similar subtle data farming threads lol
