  • I feel a bit guilty eating instant noodles too, so I usually eat them whenever I happen to have leafy greens in the fridge to make it more balanced. If you’re interested, there are lots to choose from at your local Asian grocery store (here’s a good list). Many varieties of cabbage, bok choy, spinach, mustard greens, etc. that go well in soups and hotpots. Or blanch and eat them on the side (when lazy, I just season with soy sauce, or save a bit of the hot water and mix in some chicken bouillon).

Other than that, I like adding kimchi.

For protein, yeah I just throw in an egg.

Sometimes I add mustard if I want some acidity in the broth. My dad turned me on to this. It works surprisingly well lol I think it’s more interesting than vinegar.

  • I think Trump is simple and Mamdani’s just a hip down-to-earth likable dude lol

  • I like how he just tries to talk over it😆

  • Federal agents observed that Schott had made an overnight trip from Houston to Carrizo Springs, Texas, and back, court records show. They knew he stayed overnight in a hotel about 80 miles (129 kilometers) from the U.S.-Mexico border. They knew that in the morning Schott met a female colleague there before they drove together to a business meeting.

That’s all it takes to get pulled over and investigated for drug trafficking WTF. This is so wrong. Can’t even drive in your own damn country

  • Fending off both family and coworkers (friends tend to get it). Can’t get mad at them when they mean well, but it can be a bit tiresome. I know who I am and I’ll never change!! Lol.

  • Comfort food indeed! I always associate congee with foods you eat when you’re sick. Like the equivalent chicken noodle soup. Blame my parents. xD

Shredded chicken, ginger, fried shallots, and cilantro go well together too

  • Food, cocktails, occasional fine dining.

  • Me too. It didn’t used to be like that, but it is like that now. I used to be excited to see new accounts and it was great like that for a while. Now I’m skeptical and always check their history before interacting with new accounts.

  • Oh I view them as adorable pets too and know how that would be a bit difficult sight. I just make an effort to try the local dishes whenever traveling.

Except bugs. I really do not fuck with bugs lol.

  • I had cuy there too! Though it was at a restaurant lol. I had them grilled, it was delicious. You just have to get over seeing them on a plate. I mean it’s not much different from seeing a cornish hen or something. It’s a trip when you go to someone’s house and they have guinea pigs, except they’re for food and not pets.

  • Another one from lemmings.world too. They are doing a bad job at keeping out bots

  • Another one from lemmings.world…

  • I always figure they sell it at a loss on purpose to get you in through the door. Thinking you’ll come for the chicken and then buy something else

  • Wtf 82 lengthy comments and the account’s only 1 hr old

  • It’s happened to me before, but it was just an internet issue or something. Reloading the page fixed it.

  • I can’t stand more than a half hour in a jacuzzi and that’s in an air-conditioned room. I know that we’re in an extinction event and I shouldn’t be so attached to our living species, but my heart hurts to hear this news.

  • Well we knew this would end once the flights were getting cancelled. It’s all for show. 🙄

  • No you’re fine. If they wanted it that way, it should be in the community’s rules.
