  • I have no interest in continuing after the first few minutes. Slow, clumsy dialogue (with an AI voice, no less) and you explain nothing. Why add subway surfers? You've already got an "avatar" character you could draw in different poses and "animate" to act like talking. That would be far more engaging than this.

  • Some friends and I managed to attend a live showing of The Room at a local theater, complete with a Greg Sestero cameo! He's a cool dude, and the experience of watching The Room in a theater with other fans was unmatched. Throwing spoons, "hi Denny" , and "because you're a woman!" Are some of the things people do or say during the movie.

  • I can sort my subscribed page by top 12 hours and only use Lemmy once or twice a day. Helps with controlling doom scrolling.

    Other than that, there's better human interaction here. I've started recognizing names and pfps which is pretty cool too. Some of y'all seem rad.

    I'd argue that posting ai slop in and of itself provides nothing of value. There is nothing of value in generative ai. People are going to comment on it, because it's bad. Get over it, I guess.
