Read the Jesus parts again. Would Jesus like that?

  • Haven't thought about that movie since I left the theater. Lots of meme potential there... Nicely done.

  • I avoided DS9 for decades thinking it would have to suck. It didn't. I highly suggest a first play through of only Dominion War episodes. Then the characters grow on you. You wonder why anyone tolerates the mean Kai. So then you watch it in order.

  • You are correct. I would like to add that in rural areas, one also has to act as their own garbage collection service and drive their garbage to the dump, which should be 50 miles or more away.

  • Ah yes. And Twisted Teas are or can be, "hard" (containing alcohol, much like "hard alcohol").

  • To be serious a minute, I was certain I would be dead long ago. Save for retirement. If the cyborg revolution starts before retirement, then you might be able to get some cool upgrades. If you are "up against the wall", you won't have more than a few minutes to regret saving for retirement before you die. Regret Minimization!

  • Yes!

    An diplomats/CEOs using Teslas!

    • Optical cameras are mandated at Musk's insistence, despite lidar being better.
    • Built in cell modem for "over the air updates".
    • Massive processing onboard for "interpreting the cameras".
    • Microphones and cameras inside to "ensure the driver is paying attention".
    • Big ass batteries for driving and keeping sky kit running.
    • Get the targets to pay for the spy gear themselves.

  • An issue with post-interstate USA is the ability to move away from family for education and work, also fragmented the extended family. Managing life, everything and a under-6 month old infant takes way more than two people. (Day care in many areas will accept an infant at 6 weeks, which while huge, is also problematic.)

I expect the only solution is get rich and help your kids with the grand kids. (UBI!)

None of this is an excuse to fuck off and not help. It is pathetic when men say "and I never changed a diaper". Hardly a parent at all at that point.

  • Great video! Nice to see someone highlighting successful government run grocery stores!

A bit funny to see congress people that use and support government run grocery stores, while also talking bad about them.

  • fully integrated GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) and AI-native cloud solutions provider.

Aren't all of the GPUs spoken for the next several years spoken for?

  • Bid on the replicator! Then so many problems can be solved!

  • In what way is it relevant? (I read the opening paragraphs, and do not see the connection.)

  • Didn't the tech companies threaten to leave if they were taxed? Seems easier to tax the tech companies than force people to identify themselves.

  • exact same thing every time

I imaging it is this, combined with memory saving. So each scoop of ice cream is the same scoop (3 scoops in that bowl are the same three scoops.) Maybe even more extreme with the "scoop" being a "replicate this 1 mL of ice cream and apply a scoop shape, where that shape is 'round'".

My evidence is that some recipes are simply not in the replicators storage of galaxy class ships. This indicates that it takes both storage and effort to get a recipe into the machine.

  • There are more, but we run into issues with sorting motivations and which victims we mean to include. Periodically a rapist or murderer will be killed by the family of the victim when the perpetrator is felt to get a disproportionate punishment. Widening the geographic scope, I understand Uday and Qusay Hussein were killed in a shootout with the USA military. As previously stated, whom to include is a difficult decision.

  • There are, but the law dislikes the competition and few militaries are willing to try against those in the USA. People are murdered for ill deeds (both bombed and shot on the street), and kidnapped by gangs or "special forces".

  • ... Can't let black people build something nice.

  • It is like a speed run of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. No one wanted to buy Russian weapons after that. The USA is in the same position now.

  • I am disappointed. A few servers have been moved via train and stayed online. Codeberg should do better.
