We already had a "Milei" during the 90s, Carlos Menem, a figure libertarians like him and his followers love to defend, despite being one the most devastating presidents we've ever had. The only difference is that Menem actually supported government funded R&D programs, other than that, it's the same but with promise of "it's gonna work guys! For real this time!"

There is only so much you can do with a Mode 7 track editor. Mario Maker provides a massive catalogue of obstacles and power ups for the creator to use as they see fit, an OG F-Zero maker won't provide even a fraction of opportunities. As a standalone software it doesn't make business sense, but it could be an expansion to 99.
The rumor basically claims the dev kits have an LCD screen, it could be subject to change, but developers need to know how their games will look like on the screen, so if it's true the kits have this screen, then the console most likely will have it too.
Reddit will get increasingly worse the moment they go public, even if they backpeddal on all of the BS (and they did to some extent), I'm already envisioning several Twitter/Twitch/YouTube-like anti-user monetization features that will trickle down one by one over the years. The owners and admins have shown their true colors, there is no undoing that.
If it weren't for how rough (and personally, confusing) Lemmy is right now, I wouldn't even consider going back. But if the growth stalls, and communities remain super small, I might hop back, which is why I haven't deleted my content and account over there yet.
