  • People have been saying this for 5 days now lol

RD already having to ban a bunch of idiots who got refunds, went to torbox which actually doesn't work, and now are trying to come back.

  • Wonder how long it will take all these rights groups, trying to weaponize badness enumeration, to realize what a horribly ineffective strategy it is.

  • In general DNS poisoning is not a very effective measure as these companies point out in the article.

There are simpler ways to block access, they noted, pointing out that the measures would not be effective because users could use VPNs or other DNS resolvers to bypass the blocks.

  • If it isn't divestos or grapheneos the privacy gains over stock are going to be minimal compared to the comparability issues you will face.

  • The API has been mostly worked around. stremio, the major addons, rdt, and zurg works.

People keep saying "just wait..." but nothing ever happens.

There have been issues caused by maintenance that were more troublesome then this.

  • What fate is that? RD still works lol

People just way to wrapped up in the reddit made panic

  • RD still works and there are multiple other debrids out there if you prefer stremio.

If you are fine just deleting stuff after watching instead of hoarding you can save in storage and management costs if you go the self hosted route. Also its a lot cheaper to host if your willing to watch at say 1080p then 4k.

  • I mean its already working again...

  • Aaaannnd Real Debrid is working again...wild ride this is

  • I'm not sure why there is so much push back. You made a post showing alternatives to real debrid but you crossed out all debrid even though it works.

  • At $4/month I'm willing to risk it. Honestly I'd like to use TorBox but they need to get a bit more established.

  • Kind of misleading as all debrid works fine and there is no guarantee it will be "hit by the same hammer" anytime soon or ever. The reasoning your using is an appeal to probability which is a logical fallacy.

  • Why is AllDebrid crossed out? Just cause its French based as well?

  • Zurg seems to still work. So people who use this for Plex or Jellyfin shouldn't be to affected.

Stremio users on the other hand either have to switch services or wait and see what the dev from Debrid Media Manager comes up with.

Personally, I'll probably switch to AllDebrid until TorBox proves it can handle the influx of new customers and grows it's cache.

  • It looks like in terms of torrent sites

    • 1337x
    • rutracker
    • the pirate bay
    • torrentgalaxy (replaced RARBG)
    • yts

Are all on the list. seems like torrentio is gonna be a big victim of this.
