  • Best pencil i have used

  • Mineral oil is what i was planning to use, it's issue is that's it's pretty viscous so would need to be moved around mechanically. Some plastics are ok with ipa (can use other solvents)

  • Yeah it's definitely a fire hazard, and just a health hazard in general. The pressure should self regulate, as it gets hotter it will increase pressure, which makes it easier to cool down. Would be in something metal that could take the pressure. And completely sealed so no air can get in all heat would have to conduct out.

  • I personally haven't taken amtrak or via (I'm guessing your in us or canada) i don't consider traveling on a train wasted time. I can sit and read (i get car sick), i can do work, charge my laptop, use on board Internet or 5g. I can also get a night train and sleep for the journey. America was built by the railways, there is no reason they can't make a return.

  • Paying for WiFi sucks. At least in my country pretty much all trains have WiFi. Though if you have 5g in the car you should be able to get it on the train too (at least everywhere the car would). They're also faster for all but the longest journeys (wish they were cheaper though)

  • I hope you aren't watching a show while driving?

  • I think this might be what they are talking about. Brilliant video, the story just builds and builds and builds. https://youtu.be/K4yCXIZ32lk

  • Are there other gasses that could be used. E.g some of the noble gasses like argon or neon?

  • Would guess they are trying to puncture whatever keeps the pontoons afloat. I know nothing about the bridge pontoons though, but seen plenty of helicopters with lots of holes in them

  • I really hope in the next few years we see a revolution in short distance transport. Most journeys are less than 3 miles (if I remember correctly, could be 5) a perfect distance for e-bikes, e-scooters and normal acoustic bikes. Hopefully at least some places capitalise on it

  • Metals are made of crystals, they usually defourm along the grain boundaries and fatigue cracks also grow along them. By eliminating those boundaries you reduce the chance for fatigue cracks and make the overall blade stronger.

  • Does it talk about fixes, I.e proportional representation, stv, etc?

  • His dad must be very upset that he is making pots and not tools.

  • Then how do people get to the jobs without any infrastructure

  • Also lots of other places (YouTube as an example) allow you to migrate your account indefinitely, over a decade after they were purchased.

  • Thank you for such a detailed breakdown, I learned allot.

  • So many things wrong, we were never the envy of Europe, we were the cash cow of Europe. European state operators ran our services for profit to subside their own.

The rolling stock leasing companies are the place where all the money goes, I would rather see them nationalised than the franchises themselves. However as they are owned by the banks we can't touch them.

Also the claim that privatisation increased passenger numbers is wrong, they were going up before.

Additionally the idea that the private system is cost effective is wrong aswell. The subsidy paid out to the rail is higher now than under BR.

  • The decline of alternatives has not helped the situation aswell.

  • That is a very odd failure so not 100% sure. If I had to take a punt I would say the nozzle jammed from the mentioned heat creap issue, eventually the silk pla broke in the extruder as it's very brittle, combined with retractions. It then was then able to work its way out and make some noodles for you to enjoy.
