I agree that Lemmy is definitely in need of more diverse content, and I am planning to post more of this kind as I am getting back into being more active and outside more. And I just love to share stuff I enjoy.
Even in the grayest and most concrete-hellscape cities there are very beautiful spots to find. Make it a quest to find, enjoy and capture them! :)
Nope, not an astronomer. There are actually public tours at the observatory but I was invited to a private event from one of the people who run the observatory/tours.
If the water is warm enough and there are not any currents dragging you somewhere, how would this be any different from going swimming in a lake in the summer?
I just recently switched to using the COSMIC alpha, coming from KDE on my personal laptop and from GNOME on my work laptop. I absolutely love it. It's very stable and polished for still being in alpha.
I really like its tiling and workspaces. The navigation just feels very natural to me. I am a very big fan of keyboard only navigation.
Since both of my laptops have hybrid graphics, I am also a fan of COSMIC's approach to hybrid graphics, that it generally let's you quite easily specify if you want to run an app on dGPU or iGPU.

Also replaced the soil that it came in from the supermarket (which definitely was not ideal and quite slow draining) with some cactus stone soil stuff.
Should I just water it normally (and yes, definitely a bit less than before :D)? Or do anything special until it roots?
