  • Now I know what you're thinking "How do cosmetics improve my FPS?" but, you see, you aren't seeing the big picture.

These are gaming cosmetic products, what does that mean? It has RGB, costs 1.5x more than it should and our website's background is black. So you see, we know gamers, and we know that gamers need smooth legs to use their hands to play. Now, for a limited time use code "RGBitch420" at checkout to get 10% on and no bundled games.

  • No problem, I dislike it myself when I have an issue and there are no posts mentioning something similar or the OP deleted their post.

I also find it annoying when the solution is buried somewhere in the comments, so I make them as visible as possible.

  • Not too bad actually, a few hundred quid. Aurora MR game package which I quickly CCU'd to an Avenger Titan, some IAE 2952 red Artemis armour and a Prospector to make bank.

  • Thank you! I can confirm uninstalling amdvlk fixes the issue.

  • Yes I tried Proton-8.0.3 and Proton GE 8.16 to no avail. Got the same issue.

  • Hasn't quite got the sound that you were hoping for, I hope.

  • Hopefully that's not sarcasm. I genuinely do love the faction missions in Starfield. I've just grinded out the Ryujin tree and about to start Freestar.

The side missions are also quite nice too. None of the faction nor side missions overstay their welcome too much, they feel like a good balance between chore and activity. Plus the rewards make it more than worth it.

I've only just gotten to the temples in the story so I'm quite far ahead for the main questline, which makes it all the more enjoyable. Plus to top it all off I've max affinity'd Sarah.

  • About to go do the same, I still can't believe how hard they fell.

  • Bugger me, straight in with that are we? You're not wrong.

  • Thanks, but I think my bank account would appreciate it more.

  • That was one incredible cyborg rabbit-hole I just went down.

  • Literally anything with tech, new hardware, new laptop, bigger VPS or another Raspberry Pi. My bedroom is starting to look like some back-alley tech store from a dystopian movie.

Oh and, to top it all off, Star Citizen.

  • Nothing was stolen, it was all conserved.

  • Weapon X prototype?

  • Nobara is pretty good for a "just works" gaming-centric distro. The issue that you're coming across is plain and simple, PopOS is severly outdated. Most of System76's dev team are likely working on COSMIC.

If you want the absolute most, contiuously up-to-date packages, then I can't recommend anything other than Arch. I've used it as my daily driver for a little over 2 years now and I've always come crawling back if I try something else. Gaming on it isn't a hassle, most of the time it just works, not to be a stereotypical Arch user but do read the Wiki. Arch was also my first ever distro, a friend got me into it.

If Arch is a bit dawnting for you then something Arch-based is just as good, from experience I recommend EndeavourOS. Do not use Manjaro.
