(He/Him)

Geek. Gamer. Data hoarder. Eldritch Horror hidden in a geeky t-shirt. Canadian. Polite, but says 'cunt' like an Australian. Avid pirate, worships unfathomable space gods that may drive you crazy.

If you see this username on other instances, it's almost certainly me on an alt.

  • Go to your profile on the website. Will say right on the top right hand side where it shows your level.

  • Still working for me with just the basic bitch plan on the web/desktop.

That being said: Fuck you Spotify lol

Edit: fuck GadolElohai and CybranM too ya low expectation having downvoting motherfuckers lol

  • The hardware side, I assume.

  • Yup.

I'm 40. I've been gaming since opening Super Mario Land one afternoon in 92/93. I've spent money on more games than I can count (literally as I've bought and sold my entire physical collection numerous times over the years).

At this point: Game comes out, I pirate it. Once it's below $20, I'll buy it (assuming it wasn't shit, obviously). If I get tired of it before then, it gets Wishlisted until I can buy it below $20 in the future and I spend the next chunk of time playing one of the millions of games that have come out in the last 40ish years which I've missed instead.

You ever see me spending $70/$80 or more for a game for the rest of my life you best fucking call me a doctor and let my wife know I may not be coming home.

  • Nesscary

    ...Neccisary

    .......Neseccary

    Fuck it, it's now "Nesisary"

  • Change it to English lol. I forget where it was said, but a month or so ago I remember someone saying there had been an issue where if you leave it as Undetermined, it won't show you most English content.

  • Was about to say lol. Right in those last days/weeks of Google Reader, Feedly loudly stepped up and offered to help people import their data over and continue on. I'd assume the majority of people who had been on Reader, who didn't quit using feeds entirely, probably migrated to Feedly the day Reader shut down.

  • Baked af and I freaked the mother fuck out (while remaining partially calm).

  • I do not drink, but if we can swap this for 10 bowls from now: Shredding a slab of slow cooker pork and playing 64man 2fort in TF2.

Edit: Alright well it's been 7ish but the pulled pork is delicious and I've been burning up spy's in sewers so I guess it all worked out.

  • I can't tell the benefits of one code type for another as it's far from my forte, but kbin is coded from scratch using a different language than lemmy is, so that could have some sway over it in addition to just differences in infrastructure owned/accessible by the people who run the various instances.

  • I see Dr Becky, I uptoot. It's the law.

  • Never stopped

  • Yeah I run on a boiled potato so any improvements will help.

  • I mean if nothing else it seems better to start with a hairy elephant than fuckin' dinosaurs..

  • I've had these ones from 3-10 years depending on the unit XD

  • Chromium browsers have only 1 feature I need: access to the Chromecast API. I have 3, Firefox can't connect to them and the last 2-3 times I tried the listed 3rd party methods (fx bridge, etc), I could never get it to work.

Were it not for that, I'd be back on Firefox.

  • I see Anthony, I uptoot. It's the law.

  • "Interpol provides investigative support, expertise and training to law enforcement worldwide, focusing on three major areas of transnational crime: terrorism, cybercrime and organized crime. Its broad mandate covers virtually every kind of crime, including crimes against humanity, child pornography, drug trafficking and production, political corruption, intellectual property infringement, as well as white-collar crime. The agency also facilitates cooperation among national law enforcement institutions through criminal databases and communications networks. Contrary to popular belief, Interpol is itself not a law enforcement agency."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpol

  • 'Criminal activity should be reported to your local or national police. INTERPOL does not carry out investigations or arrest people; this is the responsibility of national police.'

    From their website.
