That one Israeli on the Threadiverse. No, sending me death threats won't change my mind, try arguments instead

Hello! That's my main mbin account, my alt is @Fitik, I also have a furry/personal account at @fitik

I'm just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱, a queer, and a #Fediverse enthusiast! I'm a liberal

I don't post much stuff, but when I do I usually post about #tech because I've mostly given up on trying to argue politics on there

  • Jacobin not wanting EU to have increased military spending, checks out. Surely it has nothing to do with an increasing threat Europe is facing on the east

  • I enjoy it as well, I also love how reliable it is, it's been around longer than software it's currently running(Mbin). The same admin also runs infosec.exchange, a pretty well known Mastodon instance

  • This map makes me wonder if Icelandic/Norwegian are in any danger considering how much of their population speak English(Which has much more content and speakers)

  • Thanks for creating it! Are you aware of the newly created !fdroid@programming.dev ? Maybe these two could consolidate? And lemdroid seems as the more appropriate instance

  • I think there's a big difference between being taken hostage and being taken into custody before getting deported, but must be just me..

  • If you're considering non-Lemmy instances, then I can recommend kbin.earth, it's a MBin instance that has a similar approach to the defederation

  • Yeah, surely calls to "globilize the Intifada", the radicalization that has been happening, and calls for violence that I even see there on Lemmy have nothing to do with it..

  • That's a nice start, hope they will be able to hit other goals as well:

Goal #1: Free PeerTube "Premium" for the people €15,000 (That one was completed)

    • Play videos in background
    • Cast your videos to your TV
    • Get notified of newly released content
    • Change the video definition

Goal #2: Share videos from your pocket €35,000

    • Manage all channels of your account
    • Edit video chapters, subtitles, info, etc.
    • Get detailed stats of your content Upload new videos from your mobile

Goal #3: Livestream from your mobile €55,000

    • Set up & manage livestream
    • Use device cameras & connection
    • Stream live from your hand
    • No more need for a secondary mobile app dedicated to live streams
  • Any instance that is not part of the tankie triad? lemm.ee , lemmy.world, even your's lemmy.sdf.org , I don't mind any of them, and they are not aligned with any specific political ideologies unlike .ml

    what instance country

I didn't think about this, but they're a French company, so maybe they could do it on the French instance? But I don't think it matters much

  • If only any of my friends would have it.. I have a lot of contacts on telegram, and on signal there's like 1. Even my furry friends are not on there

There are some active chats on matrix, but I don't know why on signal

  • I know that I can, I been on the Fediverse for a while, but I would prefer not to interact with it in any way possible

  • .ml huh? A controversial instance that is defederated from mine, oh well

  • Custom emojis are already a thing on the Fediverse, so maybe Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed will add support for them. I know that NodeBB already supports custom emojis and it can talk with Lemmy pretty well

  • I didn't had luck with Revanced neither, however Grayjay works well for me, so I use it. It has it own cons tho

  • EU diplomats gets shot at

There's a big difference between "warning shots in the air" and "getting shot at", isn't there?

  • That's just Lemmy for you, a lot of communities on there get brigaded with this topic, including technology and completely unrelated ones

  • Same, I had troubles with loading times as well, Jerry is pretty active on Mastodon, you can try mentioning him (And post about it on !fedia@fedia.io )
