  • I bought some leatherman multitool 10 years ago. It was purposed as a EDC complementary tool while I was a volunteer fireman. I used it once to cut a small wire and it cracked.

    So... That's it.

    Also, think about Opinel and Mora for cheap cool knives.

  • I think it is an interesting subject.

    I can't answer for all of us, but I can ask another question.

    Before USA became a superpower and took over the world, we were many countries and we were at war most of the time.

    Now, EU started in the '90s. It delivered some good points, yet our countries still defend their own interests. (see Denmark, fighter jets and spying for instance. No specific hate to my danish friends) German people défend their industry before anything else, Luxembourg fucks up with taxes, etc.

    Then, will our future really be built on a very centralized EU ? Have we really a common identity and interest ? All I can see is every country backstabbing another.

    So, should we go on ideolazing US culture ? Of course not. But I don't see a European culture in front of that. I 'd prefer we cherish our particularities but I don' t think european countries count for '' 1 '' voice.

  • Super intéressant. Mais flippant aussi.

    J'ai fait une belle augmentation progressive sur 5 ans. Pour voir que finalement j'ai quand même moins qu'avant...

    Pourtant, je suis souvent à l'affût sur le marché du travail, je passe pas 3 ans sans faire des entretiens. Mais le marché du travail est quand même super tendu sur ce qui est de la rémunération. Les recruteurs s'en tapent et proposent (dans ma branche) des salaires beaucoup trop bas. Du coup le levier de négociation est un peu compliqué pour le salarié.

    J'ai beau avoir cherché à percer par la compétence, on ne te recrute que si tu fais pas trop la fine bouche (sauf niche de spécialiste bien sûr) j'ai chaque fois augmenté, ou disons préserve mon niveau de vie en passant à la concurrence.

    Honestly, as a French guy it seems weird to me that PSA Peugeot Citroën, become part of a so-called-dutch huge company.

    But in the end, if they maintain jobs in Europe and do good vehicles, why not !
