  • @Rohbtc Fun fact: There's an app in the works that looks exactly like Infinity with the difference that this one works with Lemmy and Kbin.

Is called Beyond and soon will be releasing. It's being developed by @brunofin.

  • @Syo I'm not american, but I've never understood why people see porn as something bad, then they proceed to see violence as something acceptable.

Take Hollywood movies as an example:You can't have any nipples on a 5 seconds scene, but you can have all the gore and violence that you want in the entire movie.

  • @WonkoTheSane @UrLogicFails Sadly regulators won't do anything.Microsoft like Google, Apple, Facebook and many more American companies have been buying American politicians left and right.

Sorry my fault. Isn't "buying" is called "lobbying". What a way to decorate reality!!!

  • @UrLogicFails As a PC gamer that wants Linux and Wine/Proton to take off to be mainstream.I can't stand how Microsoft is convincing everyone that Sony is "evil". That they need to buy more companies, until they're monopolizing (thanks european union).

Sure! Sony is crap, but at least they're delivering games and not those pieces of shit that Microsoft call "games".If I have to choose between keep alive 2 brands and kill 1 brand. I'd, of course, take PlayStation and Nintendo. Xbox is useless.

  • @Cube6392 @Los You're right! Those poor billionaires are probably starving. I gonna go to donate them some of my hard earned money. They need it more than me!!!

  • @interolivary There's a middle point that I share with you. They shouldn't had used a device make for consumers. They should engineered a controller that could stand harsh uses like military or scientific purposes.

Also, pardon my language, who in the fuck thinks that's a good idea to use a controller that uses an old technology like WiFi 2.4GHz and only batteries, no USB cable.A device for those purposes should be wired and with Half Dome sticks (which prevents drift).

    🧵 2 / 2

  • @interolivary Again their products are reliable. I'm still using some Logitech X-540 on my desktop PC and they still sound incredible. Now when you move to devices that require software like mice and keyboards, there's not gaming brand that does that good or even "acceptable".Even the Xbox controller had an issue in Steam were it used to fulfill your hard drive with screenshots. Microsoft had to release a driver update.Again gaming devices have lots of software issues.

    🧵 1 / 2

  • @interolivary Logitech build quality was never a problem. The problem with Logitech, and most of the gaming brands, is their software which is utterly shit.

That Logitech F710 have never received a firmware update or even a driver update.I've had some Logitech mice and keyboards is always the same story. They trend to work better without their software than with the "Logitech G suite" installed.

Same applies to Corsair, NZXT, Razer, Asus (Armory Crate) and many more.

  • @Banana Sounds like that someone here can be a good lawmaker or politician.Banana is going places!!! 🍌

  • @ren Me as an Android user right now: staring towards nothingness and waiting to get at least a Lemmy app that looks good.

Is quite interesting that Mastodon has more Android apps than iOS ones, but Lemmy has more iOS apps than Android ones.Like each one of them choose an OS to build their "community".

  • @CookieJarObserver @nanoUFO Enough to think that Stadia 2 is going to happen.STOP IT GOOGLE is not gonna happen. No one thinks that it's fetch.

  • @Cartendole For me is kinda hard to follow long time span games.I can only remember the first 10 hours. So to me is easier just to find short time games than long ones.

Also indie games trend to innovate even more so I prefer a 3 hours game that's enjoyable than a 40 hours game that's repetitive and probably at the end I don't even remember the entire story of it.

  • @alyaza That's not surprising to me. At this point I can only believe in privacy if they made their app/software open source.

  • @Wilshire Yep... It's official. We're in a South Park episode!!!

  • @Benutzer I hate every Mastodon client that I've tried (specially FediLab).I just access to my Mastodon instance from my browser (Firefox) and Lemmy/Kbin from also my browser. I copy the fediverse link on a post and paste it in my Mastodon search bar. Then I interact with the content.

Videos look like the ones that you can see on toots and photos from PixelFeed look like normal photos.

Speaking about looking. Here's a photo of how one of my replies and a reply from Lemmy (Beehaw) looks like.

  • @Izzgo @squirrel Yes, you can. Right now I'm writing from Mastodon and I can give upvotes, create posts, follow users and communities.

Not only I can interact with Lemmy/Kbin I also can do it with PixelFeed and PeerTube. I've done it with the last two a couple of times. In the case of Lemmy/Kbin I do it daily.

  • @king_dead This reads as a South Park episode.IDK what's real or not anymore!!!

  • @zach IDK why, but this app gives me some Infinity for Reddit vibes.Probably is the UI. Those upvote and downvote buttons.

  • @famskiis @brunofin I also love Lemur as a name.Probably if Brunofin has copyright issues due to is a common word, he could also try with Lemour.Sounds good and is a "made" word so no copyright issues!
