  • I feel pretty strongly that this cretin and their ilk have allowed this problem to get as bad as it has.

This is just one of several Local Government Areas which are impacted by the mouse plague, and given the limited powers these LGA's or councils have, I'm curious how you came to believe they caused the problem.

Mouse plagues are the result of abundant food and favourable breeding conditions. Unless you think the councils control the weather, or write the laws on poison bait use, I don't see how you think this was caused by the councils.

  • I have four of them, purchased at different times and they’re all the same.

You can look it up. 6-12 hours is the most commonly stated battery life depending on feature use.

And I’m on Linux when I use it with my pc.

  • The PS5 controller battery is my primary complaint about it.

It lasts like 6-8 hours where my ancient xbox elite controller still goes for 40ish hours of gaming between recharges.

Obviously both last more than usually necessary but forgetting to charge the PS5 controller is way more annoying.

  • People who have high enough paying jobs to actually save and are also able to take time off from work? That's "plenty" of people, sure. But they're all assholes

I’m not dividing anyone, these are the generally accepted terms for people’s income brackets and method of earning income.

You are lashing out at working class people for daring to do something easily obtainable for the majority of working class people.

You regularly comment on the economy and politics yet you don’t even understand who your peers are meant to be in the struggle against income inequality.

It’s not a struggle between cashier and doctor.

It’s the working class and the owner class that are in different lanes of a K shaped economy.

Owning a few shares doesn’t make your income passive. Shares are the best long term vehicle for retirement savings and people should be building investments their whole working life so they can afford to retire.

  • Working class simply means someone who works for a living. They’re not earning passive income from capital.

An engineer earning $250k a year is working class.

They’ll work for the majority of their healthy lifespan and likely retire with a net worth in the millions unless they’re squandering everything.

If you don’t fall into the category where you actually work then you’re the unemployed poor, not working class.

If you work for fuck all income (below the poverty line despite working) you’re the working poor.

They’re fact you need this explained should really highlight how little you know and understand about economics, employment and wealth.

  • There are a surprising number of these losers on lemmy.

They think having literally any money, any financial stability or disposable income makes you the ‘ultra rich’ enemy.

Owning a car is too rich for many of them, forget owning a house, and if your net worth ever exceeds a million dollars you need the guillotine.

Then they’re shocked the working class aren’t on board with them.

  • Oh no someone might ask the victim of a false positive if they’re okay. The horror.

  • Seems like a matter of time before some LLM equipped sexbot has basically this set of instructions baked in.

    The zoomer coomers are screwed

  • lmao

  • Rabban was described as a muscle headed idiot so I get the direction they went, though it really was a waste of Bautista's obvious acting chops.

  • Same timeline as Tesla FSD

  • lmao

  • Bautista was excellent in Blade Runner 2049.

  • There are too many feral cats but people really underestimate how bad a mouse plague is.

Literally 10s of millions of mice. Cats won't even make a dent.

  • I wonder if whales will ever evolve a supplementary sort of gill system, not to replace their lungs but to enhance their dive time.

That seems like the best of both worlds

  • Is it bad if I wanted a video of that part? Bubble wrap is so fun

  • Seems like a bad time to have a Hanta virus outbreak and a mouse plague!

Fortunately for now it seems very unlikely for Hanta virus to spread to this region.

I've got to wonder if poison is the only option but it certainly seems like it given the sheer scale of the mouse plague.

  • Honestly surprised by the ruling given some previous comments that were made by justice Michael O'Bryan.

The ACCC chair, Gina Cass-Gottlieb, said the regulator would seek a “substantial” penalty “reflecting the importance of accurate pricing for consumers”.

“It is very important that a penalty is not just able to be dismissed as a cost of doing business, and that it becomes at a level that is a significant deterrent for such conduct,” she told reporters in Sydney following the court judgment.

Lets see if this actually occurs, many of us are expecting Coles to get a slap on the wrist.

  • Please seek assistance for your mental health as you’re obviously struggling with something.

  • Other videos relating to Hantavirus coverage have been allowed here, and despite expert advice news outlets have continued to stir up impressionable and hysterical individuals fears.

We have deployed the comedians to counteract this farce of a comedy from news outlets but if the hysterical posters continue we will deploy the clowns.

You can't just take clowns jobs like that.

  • I really like how you misrepresented stats, created strawman arguments and just invented stuff that was never said and claim you’re the only one with facts.

The actual experts are saying this won’t be a pandemic.

Enjoy having whatever meltdown you’re experiencing. The rest of us will be chilling out in reality.
